Hello everyone

I am 25 years old and I live in France. Since i was a teenager i had a really bad acne problem, I usually never had any on my face but my back and butt cheeks were really affected by it, 10 months ago i started taking isotretinoin, for the first 2 months i started with 40mg per day, then i change to a different derm how prescribed me 60mg for one month, then i went up to 80mg per day. I am still taking 80mg but 10 months after my problem didn't go away, not even a bit.

My face looks quite clean but as i said my face was never the problem. Now i decided to ask out there to people with the same problems because a couple of days ago i had a boil in my butt that got infected got really swollen and the pain is just too much, not mentioning how embarrassing this is.

I went to see my GP who prescribed me pristinamicyne 3g per day plus some peroxide of bezoyle. But i never had so much pain before, i can barely walk and is just really bad. I'm really sad because i was always told that the isotretinoin will fix this problem but i still get boils all the time. Is there any other treatment for those who still have the same problem after the treatment with isotretinoin? My derm. referred me to a profesor in dermatology who takes cases that are more complicated, that will be at the end of the month but in the meantime i would like to know about someone else's experiences.
