Has Anyone Faced These Issues?

Hi, I took accutane a little more than a year ago. I took 20 mg for 4 months and then 40mg for 4 more months. Ever since stopping my treatment, I have had the following issues:

  • Constant tiredness

  • Cant concentrate at all

  • Really bad memory

  • Shortness of breath

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced these issues. After stopping accutake I also had diarrea for a month and my hair started to fall out, but these went away on their own. I really wish I could cure these other side effects. I also had dry skin some time after taking the course but it went away too.

I do recall my troubles started before accutane (I already had insomnia and lathargy) but it got really worst while on accutane.

I have taken several bood tests and they all came back positive. I went to a doctor recently because of my shortness of breath and lathargy and he examined my heart and lungs for defencs. He said they are working fine but my oxygen levels are actually too high (99%) which lead him to belive I have anxiety. I have also had a brain MRI and they found nothing is wrong.

I really don't know what to think. The more I think this was caused by accutane, the more I am scared it will be permanent. There is a chance that I already had anxiety before taking accutane, and it just got worst while taking it. Just want to hear other people's opinions.

Thanks

I would suggest looking at the 'solving the long term problems from accutane' thread (its called something like that). It's normally pretty high up on the accutane boards.

Anything more direct? I would love to hear of someone that solved these issues.
