I have to agree with Nick.
This forum has been running low on ideas for a long time now.
I used to talk to someone from this forum on the phone... I think he was called Tree1 on here.
I tried contacting him a while back and his phone wasn't ringing.
I'm seriously concerned he could have killed himself.
I've been sleeping like shit lately.
Since I lost my job.
Went to bed at 5am the other day because my mind wouldn't shut the fuck up.
Today I woke up in the early hours of the morning freezing cold and now have the flu.
Good times.
Anyway...
I think, for me and most people, fasting is too extreme.
Far too extreme.
I'm tired as it is.
Without any food, I think I'd sink further into depression.
Food is one of the few things that can make me feel better (though with the flu, I've eaten nothing yet and don't feel my appetite will be around much until it's gone).
Connor - How long do you actually plan on keeping this up?
We are supposed to eat.
I won't call you a liar, because I know you're not, but it doesn't seem logical to give up food.
That's not why our bodies became sick.
Though, I have heard other stories of healing through fasting.
What specific improvements have you experienced anyway?
For me, I think the most logical way of healing is:
- To realise if we were going to heal, it would have happened by now. 7 years later, I'm not better.
- To not fall into the trap of looking for answers on Google
- To not expect lab-made supplements to heal
- To eat well, but not become obsessed about food
- To deal with the stress/mental affects as best as possible - I agree our bodies likely can and will heal, but with constant stress it won't happen.
It's really hard.
One person says fasting is good.
Another says it's terrible for metabolism.
I wouldn't dare try it with my current thyroid/adrenal/blood-sugar problems.
Too extreme.
So this is where we are now.
People suggesting that
-if you smoke some pot your side effects will be helped. (start smoking and see if your side effects don't actually get worse)
-stop eating/drinking completely. (my favorite) *rolls eyes*
-just eat well forever and hope for the best (this may act as a bandaid but does not actually treat anything)
This is disgusting. Seriously people? I'm glad what works for you in particular works and that you're sharing out of good will to try to help, but what the hell happened to looking at telomeres, seeing if the poison is still in us but stored in fat so trying to get it out that way, and what happened to **Chico** and looking for a cause and effect, logical solution?
This forum is becoming a soap opera/base for people like, I'm sorry to say it, Indigo to make videos and turn into his own personal blog. I thought we had a purpose here but all I see are the same questions getting asked and even more ridiculous answers being given. Is there hope out there at all? Has anyone read about supplementing with Vitamin D to help with Hypervitaminosis A side-effects? My kingdom for something helpful on this forum. Come on guys I love you all but let's make some progress here...
Tried Vitamin D, as many here have.
Sorry, but it doesn't do shit.
Well I don't feel like eating for the rest of my life. Food holds me down all ways.
Feeling is what led me to this point, not logic. My thoughts would usually doubt my feelings and I have had to start accepting that my intuition will not lead me the wrong way.
There is so much to say but I don't feel like going deep into explaining this right now. It is better off to be experienced I feel.
If you feel fasting is too extreme then how about a raw diet. I'm assuming you are eating cooked food so this is a good step and the detox symptoms won't be so strong.
I can't feel what is the right thing for you to do though. All up to you.
i did a 2 week water fast and although i'm sure it was beneficial based on what i've read about fasting i did not feel any lasting benefits in terms of accutane side effects. I don't think i did it long enough though. Fasting is much easier than it sounds though after about 2-3 days you stop feeling hungry. As for not drinking anything? That is a terrible idea and I have no idea why dehydrating yourself would be beneficial.
As for people saying "smoking weed can't help," accutaneispoison says he took cannabis oil which you ingest. There is a HUGE difference. After doing some research on it i think it looks promising. Not sure why everyone is saying there is a lack of ideas when someone claims to have cured himself.
Also 5-HTP helps with depression/anxiety and has slightly helped with sexual side effects.
2 weeks is pretty short. Depending on your body and how much waste there is it could take months of fasting until the deep detoxing occurs. In my experience it occurred very fast because I had been eating raw fruits for a few months. My body weight got low and this is where the things like hair regeneration occurred, my skin was pushing out all sorts crud that was stuck in me for years, skin became flexible and tan, my eye sight became extremely precise, my mind was the clearest it's ever been, and other many things. I became extremely sensitive to everything around me and was very aware.
So yeah. The greatest healing occurs when ones weight is "low" and there isn't much toxins left in the body to get in the way of healing. Most people are much skinnier naturally then they think and it scares them when they see it. After not eating for a while, one does start gaining weight again after the detoxing is done.
And I was never dehydrated. If I felt a need for water, sure I would drink some. Some people when fasting think they need a certain amount of water each day, like 1+ gallons. But this is not feeling themselves, this a just a belief system and drinking just because they believe they need to, not because they feel they need to. I simply felt no need to drink water.
I think it's great that people share their ideas and experience of any kind. Saying things like "cannabis oil cures every illness" is of course attributed to the euphoric emotions that accutaneispoison had after his side effects disappeared. Doesn't matter to me, I am glad someone found something that cured his side effects. It adds to our repertoire of treatment options.
Most people (including me) will use subjective arguments when it comes to topics such as illness, diet, or just healthy lifestyle in general. It's just too complex to fully understand and too hard to stay unbiased. Very intelligent and well-read people will end up in giving very different advice. In the end the most efficient way imo is to just try it out (fasting, raw food, paleo, seafood+rice-diet, whatever) and see how it goes. Unless you consider it too risky or haven't been hit hard enough to consider "radical" changes.
I had a few days near Christmas when I felt much better. A few things happened simultaneously: I was eating a lot of young shrimp (don't know the english word), about 250g a day. Took Vitamin D 10k/day. Ate a lot of raw garlic. Drank some coconut milk daily. Took a few pills of the Calcium D-Glucarate. I suspect the shrimp to play the largest part. Most interesting was that my circadian rhythm normalised itself almost overnight. I used to sleep from like 3 to 12 or 5 to 16 or 1 to 11.. always different.. but those days I was sleeping 7,5 to 8 hours, going to bed before or around midnight.
It didn't last though. I travelled to my parents and continued to eat shrimp and mussels there (no young shrimps) but returned to my previous state.
I stopped taking Vit D and started taking high Zinc doses (100mg/day). Felt much better, though differently than on the other days... and the effect on my libido was HUGE. Apart from the libido, which stayed strong, I didn't feel as good on the second day, "normal" on the third day etc., so I stopped taking it two days ago. What to think of this?
I don't know. Seafood in general is high in Selenium among other nutrients, and Zinc + Selenium seem to be necessary for proper immune function. I will combine the two in some way(s) and see if something happens. And maybe add Vit D again. And the Glucarate. Or the Glucarate first and solo.
It is very difficult to isolate the effects because there are so many factors.
Furthermore I am visiting several doctors these days to do bloodwork and other diagnostic stuff.
Good luck everyone
I completely understand the "no progress" complaint.
I've been in the US for four months. When I came back, I got worse.
I eventually figured out that the powder added to American "enriched" rice, the sodium phosphate and other additives in frozen chicken and frozen seafood, were making me ill.
I eliminated those. Now I eat amish chicken and Japanese rice. I seem to be better.
In China, my main problem was the fructose in plain yoghurt. When I came to America, I learned to make my own yoghurt, and that problem went away too.
I also had to sync my circadian to the sun, and eat only one bowl at a time to avoid overeating.
I haven't been eating an additive free diet long enough to see all the effects, but I'm clearly tremendously improved.
I would suggest looking at food additives if you live in the West.
Obviously Connor is nuts and malnourished.
Joseph, I am a little offended. I do understand why you said that though when I think about what your belief systems are. I forgive you.
Well. I've said everything I wanted to say here and I'm not gonna stick around. I love you all and wish you the best. [Edited image out]
Connor - I think we're all keen to see an update picture. Grant us that?
Honestly, I think you've done the thing I was afraid to let happen to me...
Let this turn you into a bit of a strange health-hippy.
Someone who sits around saying that Onions are really, really awesome, telling internet strangers you forgive and love them and being somehow happy to ignore the fact that it's crazy to think going without food for the foreseeable future.
Come on man!
But, as long as you're happy I couldn't care less.
I'm happy for you.
I guess part of me in ranting because I don't agree with you, and because fasting is the best we can fucking get?? I want something doable!
I do think onions are awesome and I do love everyone. You can say I'm a hippy or strange. That is just the way I am. I'm a very loving and happy person.
But again. I understand. And I am noticing it more and more. When I tell people how I feel about food, it angers them, because I am disagreeing with a deeply rooted belief they have. So I know why I am getting insulted.
I really don't have any more to say here. I've given all the info I wanted to about 3 posts back. I don't want to argue things people have not experienced. The 'miraculous' things that happen when one doesn't put matter into themselves is not hype!
Fasting is doable! Hell, you are forced to do it everyday during sleep. But you don't have to jump to not eating right away. Like a said before, transitioning to a raw plant-based diet is an amazing step to becoming healthier. I didn't jump straight to not eating either. I went to a raw diet and as I became more sensitive and was able to feel more, I kept improving and improving what put into me. Soon I didn't feel the need to eat or drink so I didn't. And I experienced vitality like I have never experienced before in my life.
It is frustrating to me to experience all these amazing things and then to tell others about it and get bashed. I expected it to happen though. I was the same way too. When I first saw videos of people that said they didn't eat or drink, I laughed and called bullshit. I was wrong.
It must be experienced to be believed. So I understand.
Stefan I feel like we were sorta the beginners of this spreading the word on this whole Accutane thing by video. You being the first one making videos about the bad side effects and me being the second. I love you man! I really want to help rid you of health worries. I want to help everyone do that actually. I deeply feel, the best thing you can do, is to try eating only raw fruits and veggies. For at least a few weeks. No cheating at all. No supplements, pills, or anything like that either. Just raw, fresh stuff. It will be amazing. You will start to become more sensitive and feel incredible. And you will feel how bad all the cooked and processed stuff is, and how it affects your body and mind.

I truly want to try out a raw food diet. But I am just so skeptical about it lol. I guess it is because I have been eating processed food all my life? I'm a newbie about this topic, so please enlighten me. What if you are a body builder. How do you get protein into your system? Also, I just have the perception that eating just raw food won't make me full lol. Maybe, I just need a little more pushing to try out an all raw food diet. I definitely heard great things and about the increase in vitality from this diet. How do I get start in it?
To start eating raw you simply do it. Go buy fruits and veggies you enjoy. Eat them. And don't eat the cooked and processed foods. Simple!! If you have cravings to eat the addicting stuff you used to eat, you just have to be strong willed and not eat it. The cravings will pass.
Eating raw things is not as tough and hard on the organs like cooked and processed foods and you will to start to feel different quickly if you are eating only raw. You will become lighter and clearer physically, mentally, and spiritually if you believe in that sorta stuff. You will have more energy, sleep better, feel better. Etc etc. Just about everything will become better for you.
There is heavier raw things that work well to eat when transitioning from cooked to raw.. like avocados and bananas. These are thick and filling.
I'll go ahead and say where I currently am with all of this.
The only time I noticed I got better almost overnight was when my immune system was being suppressed. My skin healed very, very quickly, and anxiety and other issues got better as well. My face actually felt like.. Like it used to.
This makes me think that what is going on, largely, is that our own body is attacking every center in the body that had a receptor for Accutane/vitamin A. There are drugs called immunosuppressants, and if anyone has any experience with these please let me know if they worked for you. I know it sounds harsh on the body, but it's a simple enough fix for everyone.

Hello, couple of quick questions for you:
- Do you have to take immunesuppressants indefinitely to minimize your accutane side effects? (and forgive me, I don't know what these are but perhaps you posted them earlier in the forum.)
- Or did you take these immunesuppressants once and they have actually reversed your accutane side effects?
Read about these briefly on wikipedia and it's an interesting theory. Although they appear to have their own set of side effects.
Thanks!

When and What was used to supress your immune system. Yes there are some who have had a over reactive immune system and lupus/Rhuem symptoms who have taken a anti malaria drug which supress your immune system. As for Biologic drugs NO! I would not suggest thoose either....
Right, like I said- these drugs may sound harsh. They are also not for everyone. It is best to analyze the risks/benefits relative to YOU, and speak with your doctor. But as of now it is the best treatment option I can think of.
Oligirl, you confirm people have these overactive immune system problems and have tried a medication for them. Was it successful? Have they tried more than one? If it's a simple case of an auto-immune issue, it's no wonder no one gets better by being healthy- that only boosts the immune system and feeds the problem.
I am going to speak with a doctor next week to see if I can be put on an immunosuppressant and will post results. I believe this will do it, though.
people here should give more credit to Connor and appreciate what he and those who actually got better are doing. Low fat raw vegan diet saved my life, a year ago I felt my life was ruined forever and there was no way out of this fog, I was unable to feel emotion ,that's how deep my depression was, my digestive system was so messed up that I couldn't even digeste a banana that I got all bloated and tired, my hair looked dead and was falling all over, my brain fog too was horrible . Low fat raw vegan diet is all about giving your body the nutrients it needs and giving it a break as well so it can spend time on healing . A lot people think that cooked foods are ok , like rice , beans, etc..actually cooked foods has none to lil nutrition as alnmost all vitamins and nutrition are burned in the process , also its proven that your immune system reacts to cooked foods, its like a toxin to your body . You can watch food matters on youtube for more details .
We all know that our problem here was caused by toxicity , and there is no better way to support the lymphatic system, liver, immune system, kidneys and all other organs and cells in your body than raw organic fruits and vegetables , people here thinks that a magic pill will do the job and get you back to full health. It aint gonna happen my friend, in order to gain your health back you got to preserve it first . Like hippocretes said , Do no harm. People here said that connor is nuts because he loves you and he promotes raw organic fruits and vegetables, but no one said shit about ruan when he mentioned the immunosupressant toxic medication .
Also , I agree with Connor on the water fasting/dry fast. I have done water fasting for 2 times, and I can say for sure that it helped a lot my body to recover from the digestive problems and liver problems I was having .
Its hard to believe that such a simple thing like fresh organic fruits and vegetables is the cure. Actually it aint , the cure is within each one of us , its your body that does the job,raw orgamic food is just the tool.
One quick note add to this discussion, someone previously mentioned smoking marijuana as being helpful; this actually could be potentially dangerous marijuana obtained from dealers contains synthetic chemicals.
Connor and Sergio, I salute you both and thanks for returning to the forum to report your progress - even if some do not want to hear it.
I wish I could say that I didn't have to take meds, I wish I didn't have abnornal labs nor life threating autoimmune conditions from Accutane, but I do! I keep going by a healthy lifestyle, a strict diet, (can't fast w/ type 1 diabetes), exercise, insulin, thyroid med, anti malaria off and on (when I have sjorgren's flare) I do good.
However, I would NOT suggest anyone taking a immunosuppressent unless you have signs and postive labs that would contistute such...Even thoose who have never taken Accutane who have diseases that call for them, do everything to holistic and such before resorting to them. Kinda of a last resort and I'd be suprised if a doctor would prescribe them otherwise.
You have to find what works for you....What works for 1 may not be the answer for another..... This thread is meant to help us suffering so let's be nice
A few weeks back I told you guys that I was recommended Froximun by one of my doctors. I have now been taking it for three weeks and it works for me: Improved digestion, improved healing, less acne on my back and shoulders. Consequently I simply feel better taking this stuff. Froximun pills contain zeolites, broadly speaking I regard them as a healing earth like bentonite clay although they are not considered a healing earth. These links may help you if you are interested:

That is great to hear Believe! I hope the improvement continues thanks for the links
Never heard of Froximun. Does it have any risky side effects? What did you originally get it prescribed for?
On the subject of immune suppressants, they sound like a bad idea.
Of course, y'all can make your own mind up, but that's something that's got to have negative effects in the long-run.
I really wish it was possible for me to afford some healthy food at the moment, but it isn't.
I'd love to be eating a variety of fruit and vegetables every day, but I pretty much just have a few apples a day and sometimes vegetables with the evening meal (depending on my Mum).
Like I said before, it is difficult to find any direct answers. You always find conflict.
For instance, some people say a vegan/veg diet works great for them, while others say they feel malnourished.
Personally, I've no idea.
Animals in the wild eat other animals.
There's nothing to say we're supposed to be plant-eaters or meat-eaters.
My thoughts are probably both.
But the way animals are treated these days, it's not natural.
You'd have to eat organic meat to be doing yourself any good.
I just want to ask everybody a few questions right now, and for some I already know, but:
1) What do you do for a living (education/work/etc)?
2) What do you think helps you to feel happier/still enjoy life
3) Do you feel like your life is on hold - Do you still 'live' and go on holidays and things like that? I'm determined to get away this year, but without a job at present I'm not quite sure how that's going to happen.
4) What do you do to relieve anger/stress?
Just curious.
I'd be grateful to get some responses on those.
I still think getting rid of stress is the MOST important factor to healing.
Froximun is not a prescription drug here in Germany and therefore does not require a prescription anywhere in the world I would assume. I researched it years ago and decided not too take it because 90% of all German supplements that don't require prescription don't work, many because their recommended dose is too low which in turn makes them expensive. Then I saw this doctor who told me to give it a try. In Germany 97% of all docotors are anti-supplements... the doctor who recommended it to me is pretty conservative and is pretty high on tane as well. So I figured if he recommends a supplement it is worth a try, he does not make any money off it. I paid 25 for a month's supply.
Amazing news, guys. According to the latest science, holding your breath for 15 minutes, going without water for 8 days, and going without food for 45 days will all make your Accutane symptoms disappear.
Vegetarianism is dumb. Even apes (which have guts designed to ferment plant fiber) preferentially eat protein in the form of insects and other monkeys, and fail to thrive in zoos without it. The initial benefit is from removing industrial toxins.
Lately I've found the calcium chloride in some yoghurts makes me sick, but not the pectin or D3. Also, it's a good idea to wash rice, for cooking and additive reasons. That seems to be the last of the American industrial food difficulties, fingers crossed.
