Theyre all in capsules. Aloe Vera I believe is the most important of them.
Penguin, if you want to destroy your life and end up alone and in constant pain, by all means, take accutane. If you value your life and your long term health, stay the hell away from it.
the long term negative effects are extremely common. The YouTube videos you see of ppl saying how much they love accutane are hyperfocused on their face, and are completely ignoring the subtle negative effects that will only get worse with time.
Damn, I'm sorry to hear that.
I read that accutane has the same side effects as finasteride? Do you know if this is true? Apparently genital numbness is very common in those who had negative reactions to finasteride, but I haven't really heard any accutane people talk about genital numbness.
Either way, sounds awful. I can't believe there are people on YouTube casually telling others to take accutane for "anti-aging" reasons
Its not just numbness. Its shrinkage, dysfunction, and zero desire to use it. For women, its vaginal dryness and painful or impossible intercourse. Accutane and finasteride are basically the same drug as far as negative effects go.
the accutane YouTubers are either people who had a long and difficult case of acne and are finally relieved of it, to the point they completely ignore what happened between their legs, theyre so happy with their face results. Years later they realize what a mistake they made, but forget to take down their happy YouTube video.
Or they are paid actors who never took accutane, but create a YouTube video for cash paid to them by one of the companies who still produce and sell it. Pure evil.
I believe glycosaminoglycans are the key to recovery from accutane. What do virtually all accutane victims have in common? Joint issues. Glycosaminoglycans are huge for joints and many other things, such as cellular division and cell hydration. Whole food glycosaminoglycan sources include beef bone pills or powder, chicken stock, and aloe Vera capsules or juice. Im also doing full spectrum ginkgo capsules. Not a source of glycosaminoglycans but excellent for circulation.
Get enough glycosaminoglycans into your body and post accutane dehydration and all of its negative effects should be a thing of the past.

Are you supplementing with normal/average doses or something heavier?
Ive dealt with post accutane insomnia for over 30 years. True vitamin A is crucial for the circadian rhythm and for converting serotonin to melatonin. Fake vitamin A impairs these things.
I dont think glycosaminoglycans are that important for accutane ppl. Currently I suspect lymphatic drainage is a major factor for healing. Whenever I tried burdock root in the past it would cause massive rls. Currently Im combining burdock root with beef brain and no RLS issues so far.
burdock root is excellent for the skin, liver, lymph, and blood. Its also known to normalize the sebaceous glands, which is something accutane attacks. Will keep the board posted on the burdock root and beef brain combo.
Jkk, Im curious how your libido and sexual function has been on the ssri. Ive had nothing but bad effects from ssri and other antidepressants. The best antidepressant for me was Wellbutrin, but it causes too much jittery nervousness and insomnia to stick with it.
I believe most accutane victims are supertasters, who were either born a supertaster or became a supertaster from accutane use. Supertasters hate foods such as crucifers and seaweed, which are two of the most powerful detoxifiers on the planet. Currently supplementing with natures way garden veggies, which contains multiple crucifers, as well as pure originals kelp extract, a brown seaweed. Will report any progress if/when it happens.
at the end of the day its roaccutane so: heres what to know. you may have permenent back pain. but accutane is a chemotherapy so if you utilize your body youll still see good results. dont let it get you down AS much but let it use is as it is, a disability from chemotherapy POSIONING, that caused you accutanes side effects like pain when typing, at age 30, lol. but you can recover in a lifetime. right?
Currently supplementing with apricot concentrate and chaga mushroom from Amazon. Apricots have the widest variety of carotenoids of any food on the planet. Accutane is essentially a highly concentrated derivative of vitamin A. The theory is hopefully that over time the wide variety of carotenoids from apricot concentrate can counterbalance and eliminate the remnants of accutane from the rxr and rar receptors, and return the body to normal over time. Will keep the board posted.
yeah dude Roche sucks.. they didnt even post how this medication works
PEOPLE.. THIS IS CHEMO.........
anyone else tried a LOT OF STUFF, and well seen or not really seen results (for me i havent seen many results) repairing the damage from the chemo, had a guy really mad at me on here because i said i dont think it can be reversed and wed have to "just deal with it... but anyway i really have tried a lot of these things fish, fresh fruit coffee enemas and even some suppliments and seen no results from the damage from ro accutane. i think time and coffee have been my best friend through this its been over 12 years since i took it. my skin still doesnt produce oil right and neither do my eyes or joints.. plus my stomach doesnt digest the same pre accutane... but anyway i really wish that everyone CAN recover thrugh time and well for me lots and lots of coffeee.... if one thing will clean out the system its coffee that i know. funny how different people get different things that work for them. i think that eating a high berry diet is a GREAT idea! I would like to add that into my next months ..budget..
It shrinks sebeacus and other GLANDS all over the body. THINK GLANDULAR SYSTEMS. oil...... in bones brain back organs... surrounding tissues............ thats roaccutanes signaling to the body. it signals glands to be shrunken system wide, that is how ro accutane works. it is also known to interfere with the signaling of signaling. the signaling is what causes the long term PROBLEMS.
as a friend, not on the internet or anything like that, JUST PROMISE ME, you will TRY drinking mcdonalds coffee and see if your day is not improved. caffine and penut butter are what i eat
The worst effect I that the leydig cells have gone through a lot of apoptosis. Most people that have taken the full dose of the medication have about 50% of their original testosterone levels. Full testosterone replacement therapy costs $4000 a year. This is not to mention telomere shortening, general premature aging, and lower dopamine levels. I would have almost rather have had my left hand chopped off than have taken this god damn medication. For the depleted dopamine levels, you can take Mucuna Pruriens which raises your baseline dopamine levels. For telomere length and general aging, you can do mediation. Life will never be the same of course, there is no cure for feeling like a shadow of yourself. Personally, I suffered from schizoaffective disorder until I started taking Mucuna Pruriens every day.
I had to stop taking Accutane after 4 days (20mg per day) because I discovered a ringing in my right ear and it stayed the next day. Then I stopped taking it immediately and have now been without Accutane for 12 days. The tinnitus has gotten louder. My ears are sensitive to loud noises and I find certain noises muffled. I also have dizziness, which is what bothers me the most. I also see very, very blurry at a distance or out of focus and see a little worse in the dark.
What I'm wondering is, when will Accutane be out of my system? Since I still feel slightly dry lips and dry eyes, it must still be in my body.
Am I going to have this dizziness for the rest of my life? Or will the dizziness go away with my blurred vision?
has anyone tried chondroitin sulfate? 800 mg

Ive tried chondroitan sulfate and it did me more harm than good. Caused RLS. Caffeine causes extreme agitation for me.
I believe the drug is trapped in the body long term and getting it out is key to recovery.
Ive read interesting things about burdock SEED, not root. The seed seems to be what we need for skin and lymph detox. Ive got some burdock seed powder coming in on 12/11. What I hope is the burdock seed will stimulate the sebaceous glands and lymphatic system to push this poison out of the body once and for all. Will report how things go that week.
Hi Guys,
Okay, so the story is long but in short: I found something, maybe you guys want to try and see if it also helps you.
In the past 8 years I've been following a Nutritional Balancing/Development program. I've also become a practitioner of such a program, using hair testing to assess mineral imbalances and then using supplements, diet, procedures (sauna&coffee enemas), meditation, and others, to balance and heal the body.
This had worked but only to some extent, and I found that I am dependent on less EMF areas, so most of these years I lived in remote locations.
Recently I noticed that even there things worsened. So I played a bit with blocking EMF in my home. I noticed it does help improve symptoms. Then I noticed what is more affected in a EMF dense area. It was my stomach/digestion. So I figured why don't I wrap my belly in aluminium foil to test. I created a waist band from alu foil and tape, put it over clothes, and even slept with it. It seems to work quite well. Well, bear in mind I do a lot of stuff: diet with loads of vegetables, saunas, coffee enemas, etc.
If this helps anyone, it probably means our digestion is affected by waves/EMF/wifi etc., or something else.
The good news is they seem to make t-shirts and all kind of stuff that blocks EMF, with silver wire, and other materials.
Try it out and let me know pls 🙂
All the best
Forsberg I agree with you about the drug being trapped in the body. I think theres an easier way to get it out. Im trying chicory root prebiotic daily starting today.
I believe the drug keeps getting recycled back into the body at the bowel. The hope is the chicory root prevents accutane from being recycled back into the body at the bowel via beta glucuronidase reduction.
Ive dealt with ibsd ever since taking accutane. I will report how it goes soon. Take care.
32y.o. Used accutane 10mg/day (on my 85kg) on and of for like 7-8 years and developed ligament calcifications and osteoarthritis in hips. Perhaps also in other areas of the body. Cannot run, and have pain in hips with prolonged standing and sitting.
Anybody has similar experience?
Im starting to think accutane syndrome is a choline deficiency. Just started choline this week. Will keep the board posted.
Finally a thread for this! If anyone is following the whole history of the thread: have there been any improvements in peoples syndromes?
In my experience accutane can also increase autoimmunity. There is research on that. And symptoms are seemingly the same with Sjogrens syndrome. Any thoughts on that?
what was helpful for me is Biotin but its only a tiny bit better and only for a period of taking a super high dose since biotin increases your secretion.
For bowel: what was really helpful is using fungi medicine. Ask your funigitherapist, it might be candida owergrowth that needs to be fought off.
for other things Im on my way. I think that Ayurvedic treatments with oil might also help a huge lot.
