I think raw dieting has benefits like David Wolf suggests. I like to incorporate it in my diet but, not a diet purely that is just raw. I cannot maintain my current weight, its hard to get adequate protein, and reach all the required macro and micro nutrients. While it offers tons of benefits, I am sure it can help stuff like acne. On the contrary, if your suffering severe acne, face is full of pock marks and cystic clusters, accutane is probably the answer. People can say its poison or it makes your hair fall out or all sorts of crap. The problem is that, people who had a single blemish in there life will point to raw eating. Severe acne is not that simple and even a phase 2 of acne, mild acne, you can get the odd bad pimple that can cause scars. Hugging trees and talking about god or raw eating maybe good for the soul but, its not going to save you from the inevitable.
Does anyone get WAVES of symptoms? I have had this problem for years whereby a couple of times a day my eyes feel more blood shot, the top and back of my head have a 'fuzzy' feeling, my lips feel tight and also my cheeks feel tighter.
My symptoms are consistent, but everyday they get magnified for a period and I don't know what is triggering it. Anyone have similar experiences?
YES, I do!
I´m in a really bad "wave" right now. Dry skin, exhausted, irritated and worst of all, I still get pimples. A wave can last for 2-5 days, and it´s often really tough. It can really wipe me out.
Sometimes I would say I´m completely symptom free, but mostly some symptoms are present. I´m not even sure if my symptoms are caused by long-term damage from Accutane, but it feels like i have checked everything else from my list.
This is a complete list of symptoms that´s making my life really crappy:
- Dry, flaky skin. (No moisturizer have helped med so far. It can often make things worse. Any similar experiences?)
- Pimples, often caused by the dry skin I believe.
- Skin gets bruised after carrying heavy stuff on my shoulders, i.e. a backpack. Any similar experiences?
- Depression. Not sure if caused by the other symptoms or if I´m just depressed.
- Upset stomach.
- Hyperthyroidism. Currently treating this with medicine, but I haven´t had any positive effects yet.
That´s what I could think about for now. I´m 26 now, and this is really starting to wear me out.
I am thinking it could be food allergies causing my short WAVES of symptoms. My waves last for about 45 minutes and they are pretty full on. I get bloodshot eyes, and what feels like dryness or tingling in my face and lips. I also feel a kind of tingling/fuzzy sensation in my head (usually at the top and towards the back). I don't know how to explain it but it is odd.
If your waves last 4-5 days that is quite different. It is unlikely to be a small trigger like food but rather something more chronic.
Your side effects are similar to what I have. Try gammolinolenic acid 480mg daily to get your skin softer, it certainly helps! Look into changing your diet as well, that seems to be the best thing to do! There is no quick fix I am afraid but things can get better. I think your mood is most important as it can change your outlook. You can consider some kind of antidepressant. If you want to go natural I am sure there are other ways to increase you serotonin levels.
Wish you the best!
Hey. Just letting the thread know I'm going to stop posting here. At least for quite some time. I'm doing this to focus and use my time doing other things.
Before I go, I want to share a Spanish proverb I enjoy: "No hay maestro como carne propia." Translated roughly it means "There is no teacher like your own flesh."
Thank you everyone for the help. Good luck on achieving health!
Peace.

Hei
Hello
I see you are also from norway, which doctor gave you the drug? what was the dosage? Are the sideffects reported to Relis?(Norwegian sideeffect agancy thing)
Several of my docs are extremely reluctant to report anything and their incompetancy almost make it look like they are protecting each other.
"Skincare specialist" Jrgen Rnnevig gave me a dosage at 80mg pr day, that was alittle over 1mg/pr kg of my body weight. I was guaranteed that there were no long term sideeffects though..
I experienced the hell we all have been through but when i tried to contact him about it he stated that i must see a psyciathrist because there are "no bad long term sideffects" In his words this was proven by all the previous lawsuits(also in our country) where the victims had not been able to prove how accutane could cause this.

Same thing here. Laying down-sleeping(bad in the morning), Eating(bad in 30min, depends alittle on what i eat, took a while too see the pattern because i eat frequently, the bigger the meal the badder i feel, bread being the worst but all tests say nay to celiac.), ALCOHOL, Thinking hard(programming etc), getting excited(even good musc ffs give me bad heart palpitations and not that good feeling that i used to have).

The removed gall bladder community is brilliant for digestive troubles. They have stuff like Now Foods, Pancreatin 2000 mg and Nutricology/ Allergy Research Group Ox Bile that make digestion a breeze. (Note this is lower tract stuff, if you have issues like stomach aches or acid reflux, that's upper tract, different set of supplements.)
And of course Dr. Snow I've already described, the guru of gut lining repair.
UDCA has already fixed my chronic fatigue, now it looks like I'll kiss the cramps goodbye as well. Finally I can eat! Mmm pizza. (Well in 120ish days anyway.)
Well, I guess I shouldn't take credit, another Dr. Joe has been helping me with the liver side of things. (E.g. UDCA study above.)
How are you? you still on 1 gram UDCA per day, have you expanded your diet yet? or are you noticing the same positive changes on a fat free diet? I'm on 500mg TUDCA a day but i think i've stagnated in terms of improvement because as i'm eating too much fat.

It was about a foot long and had great compisition. Not to dry, not too wet. Felt amazing. A+ turd. Haha. In seriousness though it is sign of good health. I was having diarhea often before starting my raw diet.
Yeah!
Also I have not been eating only raw fruits and vegies the last few days. I have eaten some raw nuts as well.
Some things for me to work on is exercising more. Ever since I started working online I haven't been exercising consistently.

Good for you i really hope it's the answer for you. From my experience stay away from Durianrider and David Wolfe, Wolfe only wants to sell you supplements that are by no means necessary. Durianrider is an internet troll and his vegan approach has nothing to do with health whatsoever. But good luck on your journey.
In diet everything is specific to the individual, a person with diabetes will not do well on organic fruit or raw honey, but will thrive on green vegetable juices. A person with thyroid problems will benefit from seaweeds like kelp or modifilan, A person with low bile flow will not do well on a high fat diet unless it's coconut cream, palm kernel oil or coconut oil. It's down to the specific needs of the individual.
I do very well indeed, but I have to stick to my regimine.
Overeating yoghurt proved a challenge. I can't resist. I have to buy the smaller container. I just chug a lug and ruin my day with gut cramps from overeating. That's been my main problem. Missing sleep still hurts too, but only causes fatigue the same day.
No diet expansion, but I'm on all the pills I want without any trouble. I'm taking a bunch of leftover liver and gut supps that I ordered with the previous batch of TUDCA. I'm up to 2g/d of UDCA now. I space it out throughout the day, 4x .5g.
TUDCA is weak sauce compared to UDCA, and you need bigger digestive enzyme guns to digest fat and challenging foods. Pop some ox bile salts after a fatty meal and you'll be good to go.
My BMs are epicly solid and I'm eating solid food daily, so yeah I'm pretty happy. Sometimes it actually hurts when a brick feels like it's coming out sideways. Stupid that I overate the yoghurt for a while and didn't figure it out. It's my only sugar source in an otherwise very bland diet, and a liquid to boot, so it's just very very easy to drink too much.
I'm taking 4x melatonin at night to get to sleep and because it promotes gut lining healing, and I'm taking soy lecithin which emulsifies fat.
If I hadn't overate the yoghurt I'd probably be at 100% for this whole period. Overeating causes rapid transit and bad cramps, since my lining is still pretty shot and I can't take the acidity or whatever. I was chugging a gallon or two of yoghurt per day for a while; terrible idea but it was easy food and totally innocuous except in ridiculous volume.
I'll light-tight my room tomorrow to improve sleep quality, since blindfolds always fall off. With a perma-ban on big yoghurt containers I should be set.
What is the inevitable that you are talking about?
Death. We are all dying. Slowly but surely, we die. That is it. I am greatful and appreciative to the advice you give. I just do not understand why people brow beat and talk like their above everyone when most people posting in here have used accutane be it a month ago, a week ago, days ago or years ago. Its easier to get the message through when people do not attack or be a dick head about it with their "i told you so comments."
For me, I am done with it. I am seeing my dermatologist about this. From what was explained to me, he says its completely fine, and that, its not permanent effects. The same goes for lips. The problems that occur in individuals with mpb (male pattern baldness). Too much Vitamin A or a synthetic form of it not to mention everything else cause effects on hair. Some have experienced permanent side effects. Other people have experienced none of the above. Depending on how high the dose and the diet that was being eaten, its all relative. I have noticed some effects, the most obvious being lips, dry eyes, eye infection or irritation, sore muslces, and a few others including clear skin. After trying practically everything starting with diet, starting with supplements, organics, and a natural path, it got frustrating to the point of seeking alternatives. If anyone clicked my profile, I voiced my outrage, and desire to seek alternatives having tried raw, and a organic, natural route failed me.
The plan from here is to be seeing a natural path as soon as possible. I am hopeful of a cancelation. Its not cheap. Its hourly and extremely expensive but, its priceless information if I can fix the effects of accutane. I noticed I have trace amounts of biotin in my multi vitamin. Most of that shit gets pissed out any way. Its essential stuff so, the plan is, if I get all my macro and micro nutritents through diet, I do not need supplementation. This isn't probable so, what I miss in my diet, I pick up through a multi and supplementing though, any supplement is just a secondary source. Its not the best for me either. Even the diets we take, raw or glutten free, low glycemic or other, they have their place in time, and we need to change. Our body gets use to stuff and we get cravings. Even the stuff we have that is "healthy" for us is only so in moderation. There are so many paradoxes with health.
I heard it described like a pendulum that swings back and forth and centering the body is around there. You got to constantly tweak it. David Wolf is someone I really like and appreciate. Its a shame that there is not more of this stuff. Another thing that i want to add is that, our environment is full of pollutants, toxins, sure medications we take, preservatives in food, smoking, and other crap or cancer causing toxins all of which are outside our control. I like to find this balance. I am using stuff like meditation, yoga, hot yoga, and doing what I can for a detox. My plan is to check out my natural path, more info and advice from my dermatologist, and cleaning up my diet.
I read a bit of stuff on a colon cleanse, liver cleanse, and others. I am planning on doing something of this nature but, I am awaiting my appointment with a natural path. I think more greens in my diet are necessary. I am doing active in sports, exercise, running, jogging, cycling, and doing other stuff to release toxins from my body. I do need to document my foods. I am open tips though and constructive criticism.

i'm on 500mg of TUDCA per day, bm's getting darker and healthier looking although i've been feeling pretty ill the last few days, just general sickness and malaise from eating too much fat. I think UDCA will be better than the left over TUDCA i'm using currently, although it is helping my bile flow and lessening constipation. Still cant eat high fat foods, chocolate and nuts give me the worst fatigue as does olive oil but it's still an improvement on what went before, nice to feel my gallbladder working for a change.
Trying raw milk kefir, might convert to yeo valley yoghurt over the next few days. Also noticed wheat and gluten even in sourdough bread causes me digestive problems....but nuts are the worst offenders. It's a learning process for me.
I'm doing great since I light-tighted the room and stopped overeating. [Edited image out]Melatonin to impose sleep onset helps a lot. Had a UDCA supply scare but found another source. Should pick up another 300 pills today.
Sounds like we have similar problems. The way Snow explained it, reduction in lining integrity increases sensitivity to stuff like gluten. And of course the liver causes failure to digest fat. I don't even eat steamed fish now out of suspicion that the fish oil annihilates me. I still stay away from the oil-based capsules except lecithin until I can get my hands on heavy duty bile supplements.

I have heard about mellatonin a fair bit. I may check it out. I hear it helps in sleeping.
So, I have met with a natural path guys to correct side effects and to hopefully save my hair and clear up acne. From what I gather, this is mostly a trial and error process and due to genetic predispostion, we are all kind of at the fate of what our parents gave us. I am taking a liver supplement thistle milk, probiotics, fish oils, and a herb for my immune system. I have some msm left that I will take. The plan is to take what I get from things like yoga, martial arts, meditation, and bringing myself back to that centeredness. The natural path brought up being in a sympathetic state vs being in a harmonic state. He brought up personal experiences with thinning hair and how he could take the approach of being unattractive, unworthy or something rotten. He choose to look at it as it is, just hair, and another test of surrender. I have felt awesome since seeing him after he supplements and cost of his expertise, I am out a couple hundred bucks. This shit isn't cheap. In the next month to six weeks, we'll recap, and follow up on where I am at.
On top of this, I have purchased a book called the thinner younger you diet by Eric R Braverman. Its a diet book but, it takes a different approach looking at seratonin, dopaminine, acetylcholine, gaba levels and how they effect your youth and health as well as weight. It takes a awesome approach at diet and from what I have read so far, its quite impressive, and I highly recommend it. It has a few tests to give you a relative idea of where you are at on each of the neurotransmitters and how to improve it. I have just started this one so, I cannot share much more here. I also bought a book called first rate madness by Dr. Nassir Ghaemi. Its a book that argues the benefits of mental illness, how crisis leaders like JFK, FDR, Winston Churchill, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King jr, and many others stepped up due to their own personal demons while leading a nation. I have always found psychology and mental health fascinating likely due to my own personal demons and experiences. I found it astounding that, despite what logical sense one could make of a psychosis, depression, bipolar, and other issues (acne, acne scars, balding, etc), people have overcome these things, and gone onto do great things.
I have been feeling great since seeing the natural path. I am trying to take what I gain from a peaceful place, in areas of my life I enjoy, and express that every where in a harmonic state. its hard to remain centeredness as that symapathetic state he spoke about of life stresses, personal issues or great loss seem to take charge unless we don't let. Anyone reading this message, I hope the find some sort of value in this post or maybe they are intrigued in a book and or supplement. Good luck. Thanks for advice guys.
Has anyone taken minocyclin besides accutane? I took it and read up on it. It is marketed under several different brand names and can cause liver damage and different autoimmune disorders like autoimmune hepatitis.

Did you guys take isotretinoin/accutane topically as well?

( Interesting as I didn't have insulin resitance and I am pretty thin etc..however many younger then me have developed type 1 diabetes)
Keeping ya informed! Hope all is well....
Jamie10 - I think I remember reading old posts of yours correct? Anyways what have you tried over the yrs and is it whole body or just face?
Oh, and melatonin is good, and if you can't afford the supplement get 100% concentrated cherry juice and mix with a 8oz bottle of water and drink about 1/4 cup a day or eat cherries. They are natural melatonin and good for gout and arthritis also.
Been taking Liqui-Kelp (with selenium, too) since Friday and....
Nothing.
Like every other supplement in the past, I've noticed absolutely fuck all.
Good Jesus, it's annoying.
[Edited link out]
I mentioned a few things in here.
Part of me wants to try the Iosol I mention: [Edited link out]
But that'd mean spending another 50 odd (because when I order from iHerb, I might as well get as much as I can because of shipping/tax charges.
I'll have to hold off for now. I'm not willing to taste further disappointment.
If anyone wants to trial it instead of me, go for it.
Apparently it's the best source of iodine available. A bottle would last a year, so that's good, but only if it works.
A lot of the reviews say it's helped their hypothyroidism.
My head is doing... my head in.
Itchy, like a bitch.
I had my Mum check, and I'd already tried to see for myself, and there is no sign of rash/dryness/flakiness.
It's pretty much itchy all over.
My face sometimes gets like it too (not just around where facial hair grows).
Perhaps it's a symptom of candida, to go with my white-coated tongue.
Perhaps it's another mystery, to add to the ever-growing pile of unanswered questions.
I don't know.
I feel absolutely helpless.
What is the point anymore?
I've tried as hard as I can, and clearly that makes no difference.
FML.
Jamie10 - I think I remember reading old posts of yours correct? Anyways what have you tried over the yrs and is it whole body or just face?
Hi Oli Girl, yes you may well have read my posts. I have been around a while
It is mainly just my face that feels dry and uncomfortable, and my lips. I have used almost every type of moisturiser and even use jojoba. I think the best thing for me is internal use of gamma linolenic acid. it is great. But still I suffer and want to get this problem sorted! Any ideas?
Yeah i bought the liquakelp, i've ordered modifilan and am considering buying liquid Chlorophyll......just to hit the thyroid from multiple angles. I've had a testicular varicocele for some time ( i know gross) but it gets sore when i eat dairy. God i hate accutane, my eye sensitivity is really annoying me, feeling so sick today, i've been taking liver longer thats over a year out of date, i'm stopping it until i can get some new liver supps cos it's definately giving me a stomach ache.
I have a varicocele too. Not a coincidence, is it?! I notice some achiness because of it, at times. Always makes me think 'Fuck... I must have cancer'.
For some unknown reason, I still have some faith in good.
If I were to contract cancer now, I'd think 'Wow... What a cruel World'.
I don't want to think life is horrible, but sometimes it's hard to think differently.
Still holding out for the documentary, and praying it starts a riot against this horrible drug.
Just been to have a haircut..
God, I hate having my hair cut now.
I'm embarassed by how weird and abnormal my shitty hair is..
And seeing everyone, my age at least, with good hair makes me feel so envious and frustrated.
I don't want to spend the rest of my life searching for an answer.
I just want to be better NOW.
So horrible, waiting to see what fate has in store for you.
I wish there was something clearly set out... Something I could do.
I find it so dis-heartening when I read of people like you, Chico, who say they've tried eating 100% natural for 9 months, WITHOUT any fucking improvement.
Others, like Connor, of course do have positive results, but I feel like I eat pretty healthy as it is.
I don't know where I'd find the willpower to say no to all processed foods, restaurants, etc.
Doing so would also cost me a lot of money, that I currently don't have.
But I feel like diet MUST be an issue.
It doesn't really make sense to me, why we have digestive issues because of Accutane.
But clearly, digestion problems are influenced by what we eat.
I want to do a quick survey:
Who here believes:
1) We can get better
2) We cannot get better
?
Just reply a number.
I think, with the ideal circumstances, we could regain our health (at least to some degree).
I think the answer would involve not having added stress, like finances/work/future/relationship commitment, would help, as would eating the most natural foods available, and chilling in the sun without anything revolving around time, and what's got to be done.
Hawaii would be lush, in my imagination at least.
I'm still hoping I can distract myself with my Music course, and miraculously I can recover, by re-igniting that flame inside my soul.
But, possibly the more likely, I find myself without the energy to make the most of the two years, avoid drinking and going out with the fellow rockers, and succumb to my social anxiety.
I dunno. Anything to avoid that, but sometimes I feel completely and utterly defenseless.
Rant over.
I was just reading some of the earlier posts and one person mentioned that women tend to have less side effects than men after taking isotretionin a.k.a
the synthetic Hitler drug , that's my nick name for it . Anyways because women menstruate this could be a reason why they have significantly less
long term side effects , in essence they flush the excess amounts of isotretionin out of there circulation via blood loss monthly , this makes total sense to me.
My sister took isotretinoin too and she has significantly less side effects than me. So my theory is to have a pint of blood removed every two or three months ,
donating blood would probably be the easiest way to remove it lol... It might be worth a shot ????
Lately I have been severely drained of energy , summer seems to
do that to me , I was suntanning and swimming a lot this summer which seemed to totally suck the energy out of me , it's like I'm allergic to the sun #$%^&*()(*&^%$#
now , it doesn't help that I work outside in construction , but it's nice that the weather is cooling down finally , my energy seems to be improving . By the way Indigo
Rush , give BAXYL some time to work it may take a month or two like I said , it has helped me a lot with the dryness especially the eyes and
also the joint pain , it is really the only supplement that has EVER helped me and I have tried many. Because it's liquid my body absorbs it right away and it
moisturizes me , I tend to buy most herbs or vitamins in liquid form , they just work better and are more easily absorbed and utilized by the body vs tablets.
I'm also taking St John's wort which I made myself by picking the herb then infusing it in olive oil and letting it sit in the sun for a month in a glass jar , it's good
for the mood , people don't realize the b.s we have to deal with every day because of this poison. It's been 18 years for me since I took the synthetic Hitler drug
and the side effects still linger sometimes less sometimes more but always there , and to top it off I still have acne mind you it's mild but still W.T.F I never had
severe acne to begin with I should have NEVER been put on this drug but it's all about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Depends what you mean by less serious! Many women suffer infertility, hormone issues, autoimmune diseases etc....I myself developed many serious life long autoimmune and bone issues. Its that a lot of women don't post here at acne.org, but they do other places. The drug is pure poison!
anyways, how are you doing gladiatro? What's new?
Sup guys, I took a B Vitamin that I got by accident for free, and boom my energy level shot up and stayed up the rest of the day. It was almost as big an effect as UDCA. This was a day where I had weak sleep. Yet it didn't matter. Very impressive.
Dunno if it has anything to do with Accutane. Plausibly so I guess - Vit A and Vit B? Anyway it's worth a shot. I don't think multivitamins give the same effect due to absorption issues. You should try a regular off the shelf Vitamin B supplement.
@IndigoRush That is a strange coincidence hmmm..... I'm currently trying to hit thyroid from multiple angles, kelp, vitamin D3, modifilan.....has anyone tried Chlorella or Spirulina? i want to try it but it has like 10x the amount of carotene as carrots and i think i might react to it. Acai berries started to make my hair shed very noticeably after eating them for a few days...it must of been the off the charts carotene in the acai. I'm making a concerted effort to include raw milk, cream, butter and egg yolks into the diet. I know they are high in vitamin A as natural retinol, i'm hoping that will displace the synthetic 13cis retinoic acid. If the eating of the natural vitamin A kills me, i really don't care at this stage lol. Trying to restore the thyroid as it's blasted in the case of fat soluble toxins. Chlorella and spirulina are good at removing radiation, basically fat soluble toxins of various kinds as well, the chlorophyll may clean the bloodstream. FIR sauna sessions a few times per week to sweat and vitamin d3 as it mitigates some of the effects of accutane as well as it being essential for thyroid function. Also looking at liposomal vitamin C....anyone tried any of this?
I'm mainly a lurker on here, but I'd like to tell you about the things that worked for me in recovering from Accutane. My side effects were never that bad... mainly hair loss, with a little bit of dry skin, dry eyes, headaches, IBS, and fatigue. But now, I am happy to say that these aren't really that bad anymore. Now I only lose hair when I'm super stressed or haven't slept well. Oddly, my hair texture has changed a lot post-Accutane. It's a lot curlier than it used to be.
I'm beginning to think that Accutane is nearly out of my system. Why? My skin and scalp are getting oily again. Not as oily as before, but oily. And my stools are getting healthier.
These are the things that have helped me:
Taurine. This is my #1 best friend. During the summer, I went off of Taurine for a couple of weeks, my acne came back, and my hair started shedding again. Taurine helps your body to process fructose and Vitamin D, and helps regulate Vitamin A. Taurine contains sulfur, which helps the liver to produce bile.
Prenatal vitamins. I told my doctor about my Accutane problem. She seemed skeptical, told me I just had a poor diet and put me on these. But these have worked wonders. They contain megadoses of B vitamins (all balanced out), plenty of iron and zinc and good stuff. B vitamins increase stomach acid production... sugar causes your body to lose B vitamins.
D3. I take it in the morning, with food. Accutane depletes Vitamin D. Vitamin D strongly protects against Vitamin A toxicity. Makes me more awake.
I'm also taking a combined Artichoke/Milk Thistle supplement, but I don't know if it's really doing anything.
Things I've taken in the past that I don't think have helped include Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Fish oil, Zinc, Amino Acid, Biotin, Acidophilus, and Evening Primrose Oil... And about your Vitamin A hypothesis, I took a multivitamin (with 50% Vitamin A through my entire course of Accutane. And I never tried to avoid it after finishing Accutane.)
I don't go out of my way to make sure that everything I eat is 100% healthy, but I try to make more of what I eat veggies, fruits, and protein. I've never had a problem with bread and dairy, so I still eat it. But I avoid candy, soft drinks, and other super-sugary stuff like the plague.
I love teas, especially green tea and peppermint tea. I have about a cup a day. And I put lemon juice in my tea to help the liver produce bile. Vitamin C promotes iron absorption, which is also good. I also make sure to drink lots of water.
I only use natural products on my face. (Except for my sunscreen.) Lemon juice is the best toner I've ever used. It's antibacterial. And sometimes I'll use a guacamole mask on my face-- it's so hydrating.
Also, I partially attribute the improvement in my hair to the "CG (Curly Girl) method". Basically, you try to avoid sulfates (really harsh surfactants present in dishwashing liquid) and silicones (cuticle sealers that can only be removed by sulfates) in your hair products. (Check the ingredients: anything that ends in "sulfate" is obviously a sulfate; anything that ends in "cone" is a silicone.) This is hard, considering they are in almost every shampoo and conditioner on the market. Both will dry out your hair and scalp to no end, aggravating dandruff and other hair conditions.
So what do you wash your hair with? A silicone-free conditioner... it gets the gunk out while still being moisturizing. I, personally, like to wash my hair with yogurt. I leave it on for 20 or so minutes (and I leave some on my face, too), and rinse it off. My hair is so soft now!
