As you will have also have seen by now, I have tried MJ. I started vaping in late Jan this year. Within a week everything sexual improved massively. Since then it declined slightly and has stayed like that since. However, one thing worth mentioning is since accutane my genital sensitivity has been on a steady decline. I literally have no proprioceptive perception of my D. Nothing has been able to budge that either. Also despite the improvements in libido and EQ the structure of my D is on the decline. I'm pretty sure I'm on the path to Peyronie's which obviously is not enjoyable. I'm trying to do damage limitation at the moment with some desperation buys: Arginine (blood flow), citrulline malate (blood flow), Creatine (pro-5AR), Tribulus Terrestis (pro-5AR), Carnitine (not sure why, it's recommended on a Peyronie's forum). Also got a Vacuum Erection Device (VED) to basically create an artificial erection to allow good blood flow.
Hey Crankman
that sounds heavy, no propioception and declining structure down there. I thought MJ would have fixed that. If its not sensitive have you looked into histamine deficiency?
Also I've just been taking Bulgarian Tribulus the last few days, but seems to be making me anxious and giving me a moody edge. Found out today it is a MAOI, which is awesome. I prefer lowering my neurotransmitters not increasing them. Do you know of any other pro-5ARs? Apart from those two? Creatine gives me massive IBS issues. Cheers man.
I'm now up to page 271.
If you miss the old dynamic, perhaps you could bolster your sense of self-worth by divulging your porn peccadilloes; or, you could upload a bevy of touchy, self-made vidoes. Please, don't misconstrue the word "touchy." No one got stroppy with Indigo before his departure. You have brilliant focus.
Camaroz you are back! I thought everyone was trying to get rid of you! I thought you had left and didnt like us anymore..
We just need Joe and we'll be a big happy family again.
I'll credit you with being one of the more entertaining trolls on this thread. Plus, you do seem to have a penchant for scientific rigour which I can't argue with.

I was hoping for that too!
I think I've for some reason despite my minimal usage of 'tane I've been hit very hard sexually. January of this year before I started vaping I had zero libido, a stapler provided the same level of arousal as a naked woman (zero), it took a good 5 mins of manual and visual stimulation to get me to a point where I could actually achieve penetration, I had water for ejaculate which dribbled out, complete genital insensitivity etc etc.
Nowadays all of that is better apart from the sensitivity and the decline in structure since about August time (before RSO). I'm considering taking some time off MJ/RSO to see how I react. The thing is in August I took 3 weeks off when I went on holiday and it didn't seem to affect anything other than a slight dip in libido.
Fruits juice can feed yeast, or things like dates but it's mainly the complex sugars who cause yeasts issue like rice, wheat, .. I had those yeast issue with grains but gone since i eat mainly fruits.
If you feel bad eating fruits it's because they are detoxifying, not because of copper. If you have elevated copper (if you at least did an analysis) it can be liver or heavy metals issue, not the fruits. And yea adrenal weakness is a common problem we are all affected by. That's why it's so difficult to stop meat, it's high adrenaline content boost the adrenals and give a fake feeling of energy, when it's just stimulation.
This copper & zinc thing is nonsense (i criticize no one there, just that false idea), never seen someone or stories of people who followed a good diet with abnormal zinc & copper, and never heard of high copper issue with our cousins apes who also eat only fruits.
Vegan & vegetarian diet can be really bad if you eat legumes/proteins, grains, too much nuts, too much fat, ..
@Duul
It's amazing how similar the side effects are, i can't get up off a chair without my knees cracking loudly, even my shoulders do it when i work out. The dryness inside the nose, yes got that, must be the mucous membranes all drying up. Dry chapped lips, dry eyes, dry brittle hair, changes in erections, thick white coating on tongue, yes to all that. I suffered from hair loss in the past and it's amazing i never ever have dreams now, it's always just.... nothingness, really weird that you said that, that's so bizarre.
I avoid alcohol because i react badly to it, just like you seem too. The whites of my eyes have red veins in them and they are never clear white. I can't get a tan the same as before either, and i burn much quicker now if i'm in the sun, like i've inherited a redhead kind of sun sensitivity.
I too have just had lots of blood work done, liver normal, kidneys, normal, thyroid normal, in fact my doctor said everything's perfect, so it's something beyond what they are looking for.
As far as the teeth sensitivity thing goes, i used to brush my teeth with 3% hydrogen peroxide and baking soda and after a while that caused me to have tooth sensitivity. I changed to a flouride free toothpaste and that sensitivity just went away, maybe it could be exasperated by the hydrogen peroxide. In relation to the chapped lips aquaphor and vaseline work equally well if you apply a little bit to your lips when you go to bed. I find if i do this, i never have to apply any during the day. If your worried about the petrochemical thing, that's okay, but i did experiment with many organic natural lip salves and non of them really worked as well.
Has anyone ever noticed that their throat is always dry no matter how much water you drink?
Has anyone ever noticed that their throat is always dry no matter how much water you drink?
Yes, comes and goes depending on what I eat or supps I take. Generally, if I eat raw veges my throat becomes dry with a higher pitched voice. Could be the high potassium content. Its irritating as I want to eat more raw food but always always get this stupid dry throat and mouth. There are a few supps that I have taken that have improved deeper voice and more saliva in the mouth. One which you wont like is cod liver oil. Theres a consistent improvement in my saliva with that. Also Iron, phosphorous, dead sea salt, and cant remember the rest. All fat soluble vitamins should help I think. Supps that increase histamine levels might help. Also, magnesium helps, and too much calcium dries my throat.
Hope this helps.
As for the dreaming. I cant remember when I stopped dreaming, since I was a teen. Recently had my stainless steel wire taken out from my bottom teeth by my dentist. It was put there indefinately after my braces came out. Man, I've been dreaming heavily ever since that day and my mood has improved slightly! That was about 6 weeks ago and have dreamt ever since. I was blaming roaccutane for all this but looks like it was something else. I had a mild nickel allergy. But I still blame Roaccy for making it a bit worse. Roaccy is the cause of all our problems.
These pharmaceutical companies need to be put to justice. HOW can HUMANITY live another 1,000 years when these companies are experimenting on humans? We will be a race of mutants in just 100 years. Hell it's already happening!!! Cancer is doubled, Kids are born with brain disabilities in large numbers. Autism is off the charts, it's insanity. Pure insanity, for what? Profits?
Anyway,
As for my diet, I would stick with superfoods like Hemp Seeds, Chia Seeds. Avoid Dairy and Caffeine to let your adrenals replenish.
As for supplements: Vitamin C, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Vitamin B Complex and Adrenal Support: https://www.amazon.com/Gaia-Herbs-Adrenal-Health-Phyto-Capsules/dp/B0036THML2
Baxyl for joints: https://www.amazon.com/Baxyl-Hyaluronan-6-oz-Liquid/dp/B002CKVE74/
Make sure you exercise plenty, with 30 minutes cardio at least. Weight lifting depends on your joint condition. Cardio will help sweat toxins out of your system.
I still eat meat but it has to be Organic without antibotics, I love organic eggs with a bowl of chia seed pudding in the morning. Almonds during the day, salad for lunch and dinner. You want a balance of meats and veggies. I am not for hardcore vegan dieting. I do fasting now and then to let my body heal.
Also for hydration Organic Coconut Water is the best thing for you and your dry throat. A trial was done showing how dehydrated most people are in America from all the caffeine depleting them.
So best thing is to stay overly hydrated.
I just bought this for detox: https://www.amazon.com/Flora-Flor-essence-Liquid-Blend-32-Ounces/dp/B0010EG6IK/
Will update how it makes me feel.
As for the test results being normal yet there are issues, I believe the Accutane changed how are genes express themselves.
But please watch the video I posted, the Biology of Belief with Bruce Lipton. He has done gene tests in a lab and noticed genes change to vibration and your thoughts. It's worth a listen, I believe this might be the only way to fix our issues at this point.
Let's start with positive thoughts. Hypnosis even to FORGET we even took Accutane.
Are we going to stress out 24/7 the rest of our lives??? Are we going to keep talking about this 24/7 for the rest of our lives???
I think all the stress from worrying will do even more harm then good.
So I finally made it to page 285. Now what. I've got a list of supps that I jotted down as I read through this thread. I'll try them if I can one by one. The most intriguing ones are RSO and LDN. I see my doctor next week so I'll ask him again about the LDN. Last time he said hes given it to a dozen patients and it didnt work. But can't hurt for me to try, since MovingOn had beneficial effects from it.
I tried zinc again last night which made me overheat again through the night. Especially a burning hot dry face. I'm starting to think it could be my thyroid. From googling and browsing some thyroid forums it seems to help people with hypothyroidism. It seems to make the T4 to T3 conversion more efficient. Thats the only explanation I can think of why it makes me feel overheated.
My goal is now to read up on other propecia forums and the RAG forum, and watch Indigos cure video when I can. I hope hes got the cure, that will be great. I'm waiting for the day to finally shout out "I'm cured/fixed woohoo" I hope its more than molybdenum though. I went down the copper toxicity route back in 2010 and it nearly killed me. I love copper now. I went down the candida toxicity route back in 2005/6. So many theories, so many possibilties. Who knows whats right. We just have to keep experimenting, thats my philosophy.
Can anyone suggest which forums I go and devour now? Propecia help? RAG forum? Cheers.

My first post had some forums: Allthingsmale.com and Curezone.com
Timatron: Allthingsmale.com (the accutane sub-forum) and propeciahelp.com are the main two. Ragforum and medschat are two others possibly worth looking at.
Also, forgot to answer your previous question on pro-5ar supps. The only other I know of is cyclosporine (credit to Dubya as he was the one who told me all these). However, the list of side effects are grim. So I wouldn't touch it.
Alrighty, I just paid $175 for my 23andme.com genetic test after I found out they ship to Australia and can easily test international saliva specimens. You beauty. Health and healing here I come.

Very interesting stuff here. accutane/FOX01/mnSOD/ROS
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3219165/ explains accutanes side effects.
explains that the chemo effects of accutane might actually be the upregulation of mnSOD. mnSOD increases 200% even 72 hours after ATRA administration
mnSOD is needed to regulate ROS detoxification. elevated ROS is indicated as causing the inflammation associated with acne.
manganese is needed to keep tendons and ligaments elastic, tendinitis, normal bone growth. this could explain why accutane cause joint inflammation, with clicking and popping? manganese is also used to limit copper toxicity
In humans, manganese concentrations are highest in connective tissue. Its functions include playing a key role in the synthesis of mucopolysaccharides which are a group of polysaccharides that, when combined with protein and dispersed in water, form chondroitin and its sulphate forms -- including A, B, and C -- along with hyaluronic acid, which in turn are major constituents of collagen ground substance. Manganese is also essential for the activation and stimulation of triple helix formation, which is the structure of collagen. Some authors state that manganese is also needed, along with the previously-mentioned zinc and vitamin B-12, for the manufacture of RNA.
by overstimulating mnSOD we become manganese deficient as well? google manganese and tendonitis ...some miracle like cures here
http://blog.garymoller.com/2012/09/do-your-joints-tendons-and-ligaments.html ----THIS!!!!!!
i can certainly clunk and crack my hip and shoulder joints.... now this is an purely anecdotal from years ago...this is going to sound crazy.... but one morning i had a cinnamon roll... and i remember feeling great the rest of the day as far as joint pain went. i totally forgot about this until now after looking whatfoods are high in this mineral. do you know what the highest %RDA mineral in cinnamon is? Manganese!
mnSOD is the MAIN cellular detoxifcation pathway.
Abstract: The mitochondrion is vital for many metabolic pathways in the cell, contributing
all or important constituent enzymes for diverse functions such as -oxidation of fatty acids,
the urea cycle, the citric acid cycle, and ATP synthesis. The mitochondrion is also a major
site of reactive oxygen species (ROS) production in the cell. Aberrant production of
mitochondrial ROS can have dramatic effects on cellular function, in part, due to oxidative
modification of key metabolic proteins localized in the mitochondrion. The cell is equipped
with myriad antioxidant enzyme systems to combat deleterious ROS production in
mitochondria, with the mitochondrial antioxidant enzyme manganese superoxide dismutase
(MnSOD) acting as the chief ROS scavenging enzyme in the cell. Factors that affect the
expression and/or the activity of MnSOD, resulting in diminished antioxidant capacity of
the cell, can have extraordinary consequences on the overall health of the cell by altering
mitochondrial metabolic function, leading to the development and progression of numerous
diseases. A better understanding of the mechanisms by which MnSOD protects cells from
the harmful effects of overproduction of ROS, in particular, the effects of ROS on
mitochondrial metabolic enzymes, may contribute to the development of novel treatments
for various diseases in which ROS are an important component.
NOOOOO, I've already tried manganese a number of times of the last few years. I think I could be slightly elevated in manganese if anything. But I have no joint cracks or problems though. Maybe others here will do well on it.
Manganese deficiency results in dry mouth and eyes apparently. Yet when I take manganese or have high manganese foods like wheatgerm/bran I get a really dry mouth. Annoyingly dry to the point where I have been avoiding manganese for a long time. Maybe I should just dabble with it again and see what happens.
Other good manganese sources are maple syrup and grapes. Any nuts or seeds really.
Having another read through the PropeciaHelp site and progesterone treatment seems to be seeing some success for certain individuals, quick wiki:
"Recent clinical trials have shown that among patients that have suffered moderate traumatic brain injury, those that have been treated with progesterone are more likely to have a better outcome than those who have not."
I guess I don't need to mention Accutane induces......
Not going to shout to the rooftops about it. I admit I know very little about progesterone other than the basics, but for those interested, do your research and make your own conclusions.
I will mention before any of you figure out it is cheap as on Amazon or similar and go buy 5kg of it, it is predominantly known as a female hormone and thus for obvious reasons it seems counter-intuitive to use if for sexual sides or others in males. However, many recoveries from sexual sides seem to be counter-intuitive and also have possible risks. There a couple of guys on propecia raving about it hugely helping them: finatruth, elb are just two I've come across.
Tryingtohelp2014: What currently is your protocol and is it having a positive effect I guess is the main question?

Accutane upregulates the Fox01 gene. Now how to fix it. Does anybody know how to downregulate it? Would this fix the problem? Or just give us acne again.

This is pretty interesting. I read some people benefiting from it but mixed with a testosterone cream. I'm tempted to try this but I'm pretty iffy about it. If anyone is willing to try it please let us know how it goes!

The author of this research paper is a German professor who works close to the place where I live. I contacted him a couple of months ago via email and asked exactly this question. His answer was, that the Fox01 gene reaches its normal level again after you stop taking accutane. accutane only has an effect as long as you take it. The professor wrote, that in 25 years of clinical praxis he has not seen one case with irreversibel side effects. This was his answer (and not my opinion).

No I did not ask him to read this thread. We exchanged maybe 5 emails in total. We did not have an in-depth discussion. His answers were rather short. And our email discussion ended when he denied, that something like irreversibel side effects would exist. But I agree, it would be very helpful to get the opinion from scientists.
Pathtorecovery: I would suggest having a looking on the propeciahelp forum for more info on progesterone. They are a lot further ahead of us on being pragmatic in their approach, rather than aimlessly stating this or that might be helpeful. However, an individual emailed me the other day about my research. He says he will be commencing progesterone treatment shortly. I will email him in a couple of weeks and enquire as to how he is doing.
Timatron: I have a big paper on the effects of effects of Accutane revolving around Fox01, if you would like it PM me your email address.
Roland: I guess the easiest way to see if Accutane has persistent/permanent effects is to look at its effects on acne...............
Also Roland I am aware you tried RSO a few months back for 2 weeks or so. Now in retrospect could you share what kind of effects it had both positive and negative? Just trying to amass data on it so I can establish some sort of efficacy rating. So in regards to its effects on your sides, your dose, frequency and duration and its negative side effects. Cheers!

Nice find!
Hello
I'm from Poland and have had low libido problem for four years. I took PL version of Isotretinoine named Izotek and Aknenormin.
Unfortunately I haven't found a cure to solve my problem. I tried diets, vitamins, supplements (tribulus, yohimbine etc), had gonadotropin testosteron curation.
Nothing worked, even viagra, but I don't give up. There are still many things to check and try. This month I'm gonna try metylophenidate to check dopamine effects on my body. Next thing will be probably cabergolinum cause I have slightly higher level than it should be but I don't have hyperprolactinemia.
Maybe tomorrow I will do blood test to check androstendion, DHEA, etc.
i think i have exciting news. i have a theory and i found a very important link and potential treatment for people suffering joint pain, dry skin, fragile skin, eye floaters, hair falling out/thinning, IBS, ear ringing. it will take me time to write this out... but i have to work now. i will have it up by the weekend.
