Hi All! I've been an acne sufferer for about 10 years now (started breaking out around 15, I am now 25). I'm like most everyone on these boards- I've tried EVERYTHING! My acne is more hormonal, and I rarely break out on my forehead, etc. but I get very deep hormonal cystic acne on my lower face, chin, and cheeks.

I've been to dermatologists pretty much every year since I turned 15- and nothing really helped, or I didn't give it a chance to help because of all of the horrible side effects, initial breakouts, etc. Well, I decided to give it another shot at a new dermatologist here in SC- and she, like all others, prescribed me two topicals. She wanted to prescribe me an antibiotic too, but I refused because I know it makes birth control less efficient.

She prescribed me Differin (which I've used MANY times in my past) but instead of the Gel or Cream most of us have been prescibed at one point in our lives, she prescribed me a new FDA approved Differin *LOTION*. It's supposed to be less irritating but just as effective. She also prescribed me Duac for the morning (which I've used in the past without great results)....

It's been about 3 weeks since starting the method, and WOW. No initial breakout, just CLEAR SKIN. Every morning, I wake up and my old acne sloughs off and underneath reveals new, pink, CLEAR skin. I had about 20-25 active cysts/nodules on my face the day I started the prescription, and now I have NO active pimples- I do still have hyperpigmentation from the old scars but I am confident they will go away.

Honestly- please try Differin *LOTION*. It's incredible!!!! And this is coming from a VERY reliable source, trust me
