I am going on my third month of Accutane and have noticed that I am super easy to anger. It seems like everything and everyone gets on my nerves. I constantly yell at my husband and kids. Could there be a connection to Accutane or is it just winter blues/stress. Has anyone else experienced anger outbursts while on accutane? Would love some feedback.
I totally understand these! Myself and another regular on here had these same symptoms. Even if I didn't literally yell, I sure blessed some folks out in my head. Biting my tongue became the norm. I was supposed to do 5 months of the course, but after finishing the 4th month I told my dermatologist about the mood swings and he thought it would be best for me to stop. Maybe you can stick it out and hopefully your family understands the medication is the culprit. If it's getting to be too much...take a break. You can always start the Accutane at a later date.
Thanks guys....I glad to see I am not going crazy (well on my own anyway). I just hope this goes away after my treatment. I am trying to stick it out....this drug is really rough. Definitely not the miracle quick-fix I hoped it would be. These side-effects are really hard to take sometimes.
I am very short tempered and the littlest things get on my nerves since being on accutane.
I use to have those rage outbursts when I was on Accutane. I still have it sometimes... My brain chemistry definetely changed after taking Accutane. It has been almost 5 years and I feel it more than ever.
