I've had this for 6 years. Never knew how to get rid of it. Still don't know exactly what it is. They don't turn into pimples they stay just like this. Only time they started to get better is with a spin brush but that didn't last long. It's gotten to the point that I don't wear ponytails, being afraid of the look. HELP ME!! 20171031_162041.jpg20171031_161739.jpg20171031_161715.jpg

Hey,
Im new here and just stumbled across your post. I™m of course not a derm, but my best guesses are facial keratosis pilaris, also called chicken skin, I don™t know if you maybe have rough tiny bumps on the back of your upper arms? It™s not acne, but it™s actually in the same ballgame, since it also stems from hyperkeratosis - when skins cell turnover is more rapid than usual, and the accumulated cells get trapped. The bumps in keratosis Pilaris are keratin plugs - a protein that skin cells consist of amongst other things.

Anyway, if that™s not the case here, it could maybe be folliculitis, which maybe seems more plausible, after reading this article  https://facerealityskincare.com/pages/folliculitis

But I would definitely see a dermatologist to be sure :)
Sorry about your suffering, 6 years is a long time, hope you find a good treatment from a derm.
