ACCUTANE!!!!!!

Had this shit for YEARS. Tried it all. Every diet probiotics supplements spent THOUSANDS life ruined face scarred.

Reminder for you all to quit fucking around go to a derm and get on accutane ASAP. Ask for 10 mg/day to start with as you just want to be safe

I still break out in pustules if i drink any amount of coffee. I can still eat whatever the hell i want within reason tho and still not break out.

One needs to use the correct anti-fungal for the fungus. If one has seb derm then one needs to use topical terbenafine cream. Seb derm is caused by malasezzia and terbenafine controls malasezzia. Other antifungal creams or other oral antifungals will not usually control malasezzia. Oral terbenafine can be dangerous, and is unnecessary. topcal terbenafine cream is safe. Apply topical terbenafine crea (Lamisil) to the affected areas.

But ketoconazole and climbazole alsocontrol malasezzia, and while both have significantly reduced my seb derm, neither have impacted the pustules. Where can I read how other topical antifungal treatments will not usually control malesezzia, or are less effective in doing so than terbenafine?I'd be willing to give it a try, but what is this based on?

Keto does not control malasezzia very well, especially not if it is pustular.

Climbazole does control malasezzia but does it control pustular malasezzia very well ???.

Terbenafine does control malasezzia very well, including pustular malasezzia ("acne") - this is based on personal experience plus the experience of several people plus the literature.

I suggest that you try applying topical terbenafine - you have nothing to lose and much to gain. Topical terbenafine is totally safe.

If terbenafine does not control the pustules, then you may have gram negative "acne" caused by taking the cycline antibiotics. Yes, isotretinoin is reputed to fix gram negative"acne" but may not always do so.....Anyway, try the terbenafine first.

I had similar issue. I had diagnosed ibs with alternating constipation and d. Bloating almost after every meal. and psyllium cured all my bowel problems in less than 1 week. I also make sure to eat fiber from food like black beans or peeled carrot and apple after every meal.

I take 10 grams morning and night which is 20 grams a day. If start with an additional dose in the afternoon you will get faster results. It is roughly 1 heaping teaspoon each dose but i use a food scale to be exact.

I put the psyllium in a dry cup then fill with enough water. Stir very well until it thickens a bit but not too much then drink as quick as possible.

I take psyllium husk powder to be exact. Hope this helps.

I get it. I always knew that the problm lies in the gut cz whenever I ate anything sugary or dairy and also when I consumed alcohol it fucked up my skin almost instantaneously which showed that its not just a skin condition & is also somehow related to gut. Is there a test by which we can diagnose our gut problem?. BTW thanks for the regular updates. Your posts help alot.

these are some of my before when it was actually begining to improve. my whole face was covered in white zits. scalp and hairline covered in deep red cysts that never came to a head.

acne1.JPG

acne2.JPG

acne4.JPG

less than 1 month after taking 10 mg accutane in addition to a high fiber diet. no more benzoyl peroxide or any other topical beside a gentle cleanser and moisturiser twice a day. zero acne only scarring and hyperpigmentation. scalp completely clear i have not a single active spot on my body

acne3 (2).PNG

if i had started on accutane/fiber even 2 years into this chronic acne i wouldve avoided scarring completely. i found my cure a few years too late but it is what it is.

Antibiotics + awful diet (very little fiber lots of fast food chocolate and chips) and lifestyle partying/alcohol etc in my early twenties. but antibiotics for a surgery i needed was the trigger. I believe if i had a decent diet prior/during antibiotics none of this wouldve happened. It was the combination of both that fucked me.

Ill continue to update progress as i gradually taper off accutane

Rebel heart

Acne following antibiotics for surgery MEAN THAT YOU HAVE FUNGAL ACNE, NOT ORDINARY ACNE.

Antibiotics CAUSE FUNGAL ACNE. Treating fungal as though it is ordinary acne will make the "acne" worse (sometimes after an initial improvement).

Fungal acne can be treated safely, cheaply and effectively with topical antifungal creams.

Get back to me for details if you wish.

Can u be more precise. My stomach and skin is completely messed up after two rounds of clyndamicin (3 months in total). Somehow I feel that my gut flora imbalance after antibiotics is responsible fot this skin condition.

You are correct - the antibiotics have CAUSED your skin condition. Antibiotics destroy or partly people's immune systems because antibiotics kill the good bacteria in the gut. The good bacteria in the gut are a critical part of the body's immune system.

Fungus (and bacteria that ae resistant to th antibiotics that one has been given) then invade skin and gut (and sometimes elsewhere), because the body's (partly) destroyed immune system cannot fight the fungus or resistant bacteria as it can when the body's immune system has not been destroyed by antibiotics.

Antibiotics are REALLY dangerous. Oral clindamycin is particularly dangerous, because it can cause an outbreak of Clostridium diffcucule in the gut which is a VERY dangerous bacteria, along with causing fungal problems.

Do you have diarrhoea etc. I am asking this, because if you do you need to get checked for Clostridium difficule. I can provide advice (see below) about controlling gut and skin fungal conditions, but you need serious medical advice if you have Clostridium difficule.

Have you also taken a cycline (doxy, tera, mino, etc) antibiotics ? Do you have dandruff or a white tongue or seborrheic dermatitis, or toenail fungus, or sinus problems ? Do yu have unexplained tiredness, headaches, and/or brain fog ?

If you get back to me with answers to these questions, I can provide information about how to control skin and gut fungal problems, noting that you might have some bacterial problems also from bacteria that flourish when other bacteria are destroyed by antibiotics and one's immune system is compromised fro taking antibiotics.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

I do have an upset stomach and I also get crusts at top of my scalp & between my eyebrows. I haven't taken any other antibiotic. I don't have sinus issues but my nose is pretty stuffed. I have super oily skin. About the tongue I can't say much but I think its pretty normal. I too think the problem lies in the stomach. But I don't know how I can get it diagnosed. Docs aren't interested in listening to what I think I have.

- I strongly suspect that you have fungal acne, possibly in conjunction with gram negative bacterial acne. Both these conditions are caused by taking antibiotics.

You can (most likely) fix your acne problem by doing the following -

1. Apply the following to the areas with acne and the areas with crusts 2-3 a day - topical clotrimazole antifungal cream (often sold as Canesten) plus topical terbenafine antifungal cream (often sold as Lamisil) plus tpical polymixin cream (sold as Polysporin or Neosporin cream, use Polymixin cream rather than Neosporin cream if you can).

These topical creams are very safe. Polysporin has neomycin in it which can irritate some people's skin. If that happens, then switch to using Neopsporin, which does not have neomycin in it

2. Wash your hair in an antidandruff shampoo, preferably a shampoo with climbazole (not to be confused with clotrimazole) in it .

3. Do NOT use moisturisers or organic oils on the areas with acne or crusts. The creams should provide enough moisture. If your skin gets VERY dry get back to me.

- I strongly suspect that you have an overgrowth of fungus in your gut, plus you possibly have an overgrowth of Clostridium difficule (which is dangerous). Let's start with fixing the fungal problem.

You can fix the fungal cause of your gut (stomach) problems by taking oral Nilstat, which is very safe. Oral Nilstat is sold to treat mouth candida (thrush) so ask the pharmacist for it, if you can get it without a prescription. If you cannot get oral Nilstat without a prescription, I can provide information about alternatives that will control your fungal gut problems.

Also take PRObiotics.

If you still have stomach problems after taking oral Nilstat then I will provide further information about how to proceed to solve what is (likely to be) a more serious problem of overgrowth of Clostridium difficule in your gut (caused by taking clindamycin).

Doctors are in denial about the dreadful health problems that they cause people by prescribing antibiotics for non life-threatening conditions, and they know NOTHING about chronic acne or gut problems or how to treat them.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

But I have read that BP doesn't help in case of fungal acne &in our case it does. Why so?

Benzoyl peroxide does not help control fungal acne very much, if at all. BUT ----

As I said in my previous post, your acne is most likely caused by the combination of fungus and gram negative bacteria. Both types of acne are caused by TAKING ANTIBIOTICS.

The BP is partly controlling your acne to some extent (but not fully) because the BP is partly controlling the gram negative bacteria, but it is NOT controlling the fungus much (if at all).

Thus, please apply the regime that I describe in my previous post, ie, -

Apply the following to the areas with acne and the areas with crusts 2-3 a day - topical clotrimazole antifungal cream (often sold as Canesten) plus topical terbenafine antifungal cream (often sold as Lamisil) plus topical polymixin cream (sold as Polysporin or Neosporin cream.

The combination of these antifungal/anti gram negative bacterial creams should fix your acne problem.

Also take the oral Niistat to control fungal problems in your gut - noting that you might have more than a fungal problem in your gut. Your gut problems are caused by taking antibiotics ie, by taking clindamycin which causes both bacterial and fungal overgrowth in people's guts.

Please apply the regime that I suggest above and in my previous post. It is totally safe and you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

Hello people,

I was just going through some youtube videos trying find content which could tell me how to undo antibiotic damage & that's when I stumbled upon this video.

Just to 7th min if you are not interested in the whole video there you will see that this guy also had our condition as he too was on accutane & antibiotics. And he has clear skin now, don't know his whole regimen but caveman was a part of it, he also talks about what probiotics he took to undo the dysbiosis, in his other video.

Hi Everyone,

I have been struggling with this problem since 7-8 years. I had consulted with many doctors in India but every time they cured till I took medicines. The day I stopped taking medicine they started popping up with in a week. Recently I consulted an Ayurvedic Doctor and she prescribed me products made from Neem and I have using these products since last week and I saw some dramatic changes in occurrence of these zits. Now I have almost clean face with only 2 tiny ones. I would suggest you guys to try these products if that works for you.

I am applying neem oil with sesame oil as a carrier directly to them twice a day and always face my face with neem face wash and having neem juice 25 ml empty stomach in the morning.

Hope this helps some of you guys in getting rid of these zits.

Can u tell us how did you get this condition in the first place? I too use neem face pack and it does give some relief. I have tried cold pressed neem oil too but it didn't work may be because I have super oily skin.

I was having acne problem in my young age and I had been gone through a long treatment. Might be antibiotics that I had took during treatment of acne causing this but I am not sure about this.

I too have super oily skin but this remedy is helping me to get rid of zits and extra oil on face.

Give it a try, if it will nothelp you neither it will make your condition worse.

Its purely natural and Ayurvedic.
