1st month on ACCUTANE 10mg
(23,Female,cystic acne on cheeks,jawline and chin)
Skin type - normal

Side Effects -
*Joint and muscle pain
*Rib cage hurts
*Cranky mood
*Extreme depression
*Irritated

1st month on Accutane 10mg update!
So 30days of 10mg brought all my cysts up on my cheeks and chin. (Painful and red)
Pus filled cysts throught out the month.
Feeling very insecure.

2nd month on ACCUTANE 20mg (23,female, cystic acne on cheeks, jawline and chin)
Skin type - normal

Side Effects -
*Joint and muscle pain
*Cranky mood
*Extreme depression
*Irritated

2nd month on Accutane 20mg update!
-Still got like 14 - 15 cysts on both my cheeks, jawline and chin (pus filled, red , painful)

3rd month on ACCUTANE 20mg

3rd month on Accutane 20mg update!
Pretty much the same as 1st and 2nd months were.
still got 14- 15 cysts on both my cheeks jawline and chin.
(pus filled, painful , red)

NOT SEEING MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE IN MY SKIN TO BE HONEST.

Yeah it's very depressing when accutane(which is probably the last option) doesn't seem to work

Maybe its taking longer since i'm on very low dose.
my dermatologist said to wait and see the result by the end of 4th or 5th month. 
But i'm wondering if accutane doesnt work for me then what will i do next! :'(

i feel exactly the same.. There's not a single day when i dont think of quitting this medicine..so tired of all this

how long have you been taking it and what dose?

Im on 30mg..and it's been 4 months..no change in the dose from the very beginning

there is improvement..like i dont get big pimples anymore..but there are blackheads and tiny bumps all over and  until these are there..nothing can be done for my scars which are.. well..very bad and i also get hyperpigmentation very easily and while on accutane, they just don't fade no matter what..i know it isn't as bad as those painful cysts..but the scarring really hurts your confidence..anyway lets see what happens..and I really wish it works as it should for both of us

Its been 4 months since I'm on ACCUTANE 20mg
not much has changed still getting breakouts on my cheeks and jawline. (Losing hope)

No more dry skin or lips since its summer and i live in a humid enviroment.

i feel you..idk why this medication does that but the emotional side effects are too much..i don't remember how many times i just broke down. And the acne.. Well..i think you are on a very low dose..you might wanna ask your derm to increase the dose because according to my derm..if youre on a very low dose the chances of your acne returning after the course is higher.
Btw, im on 30mg/day finishing six months in 20 days. I know its hard..its very hard but dont lose hope.. It'll pass. Good luck

yes the roller coaster of emotions are insane on accutane.
yes its been 4months being on very low dose. I might start 30mg for 5th month. From the 1st of june.
My derm said that being on low dose takes time but cures forever. While the high dose works fast but there are chnaces of acne returning.

yep..i am on 30mg throughout and my derm would have increased it to 40mg in February but at that time the side effects were a lot so she didn't. Our derms have exactly opposite opinions about the acne returning back, lol. Thank you and i wish the same for you, so that you can look at the mirror with a big smile, and don't lose hope, it'll work.

5th month on ACCUTANE 20mg

UPDATE -
This has by far been the best month of 2017 as per my skin and acne.
I have no cysts just a few 2-3 tiny pimples.
My skin is so calm and nice to me.
I can not belive it.
Not much side effects either.
No depression
No dryness (cz its summers and i'm using good moisturizer)
No joint or muscle pain (taking vitamin d3 and calcium regularly)

I am very happy with my results. I have few more months to go on Accutane.

lots and lots of hairfall
*Sciatica nerve pain (5-6 times in a month)
*Absent minded
*Feeling numb emotionaly

UPDATE-
2-3 small cysts underneath the skin 
Skins pretty much perfect. I look in the mirror and can not belive that its my skin and that my face could look this clear.

I am hanging on to Hope.

Yes. Currently got no scars or pimples on my face. Cant belive it. 
its just the hairfall is intense. Its freaking me out

Ya. Maybe one thing at a time. Acne is the main concern. Later il deal with the hairfall
