Have u tried apple cider vinegar to fade the red marks?
I'm currently on accutane and noticed that when I apply ACV to actives it reduces the inflammation a fair bit. My red marks are fading but that could also be because the accutane is drying out the surface layer and speeding up the healing of the skin.
I would say apply the scar gel so it has direct contact with the skin. Once that fully dries, put on the moisturizer. Or whichever has the thinner consistency, I'd apply first because the thicker one will inhibit the other from absorbing. If the consistency isn't significantly different - scar then moisture

Thank you been off accutane 5 weeks tomorrow
Week 33
the past week I've had really sever flushing episodes every night. Bright red, hot, swollen, unbearable across the cheeks and nose.
Went to the derm yesterday, i don't have rosacea but he said it could be due to the Doryx along with chest pain I've been having.
So he's now taken me off Doryx and I'm on Bactrim twice daily. Also gave me a sample of Finacea gel/cream which might help with my marks. So I'm using that along with the silicone scar gel.
Fingers crossed!

yes 38 weeks is a long time and i really didn't think it would take this long for me. Took a great deal of persistence! 6 weeks isn't long at all. took me a long time too to see some improvement especially as i had such a huge initial breakout. It'll be worth it in the end you just have to stick with it!
