Hello, my name is Arshav. Now i want to share my experience with isotretinoin. English is not my mother language so please bear with my grammar mistakes.
I've been working with moderate acne since high school, combination skin with realy oily T zone and really dry cheek. dark skin and thus easy discoloration from the slightest inflamation
I've tried all those natural remedies for acne, from aspirin mask, lemon mask, honey mask, green tea, no meat, dairy and fried products but none happen.....
My sister has more severe acne than me, she has white skin and her acne is like big angry red all over her face and my doctor prescribed her antibiotics and tane for a month combine with chem peel and her skin looks so flawless right now i envy her.
Because i have milder acne than her, my doctor said topical cream and chem peel are enough for me. Is it true? yes, for a while.
Last year i have my dream skin flawless with occasional pimples, no comedones or whatsoever, no dry skin, no flaking skin, nothing rith chem peels only and i'm so happy with that.
On April i've got sudden break out, i don't know what's wrong, but my doctor overlook it and said maybe it's because my monthly cycle and it still going on until now T_T
I've got little pustules all over my face and big red papules in my cheeks and they leave dark mark that takes ages to fade.
Last week finally i got my own Tane prescribed for me, low dose 10mg a day for a month to taking care the oilyness in my skin. She still believe i don't need it for my acne.
It start on 28 Sept 2015. Been 2 weeks and i see no changes in my face. Oil still there, more papules, same pustules, dark marks, no dry anything *sigh*
It works for my back acne though so i'm still hoping it's gonna work on my face.
