Into my second week of accutane and my second course.

On 40mg for the first month and then 60mg for the other 5. Let's hope for improvement. Skin originally cleared up after first round which was only 20mg for 3 days a week. Hoping for positive results. Started to have my IB after 12 days, I hope this is a sign of Accutane working.

I'm on 40mg just in my first week of a 2nd round. Did a full first course got at least 150mg/kg but it slowly crept back. I am on 40mg for the first two months will see then what to do next.

Hope your initial break goes fast and isn't too severe .

Hi fadedjay - sorry to hear you need a second course. Sometimes it's needed and more successful (apparently)! I am also on 40mg for the first month and 60mg for the rest.

(Around day 21)Update: starting to have a severe IB. Red marks are more prominent and definitely starting to see the early stages of Accutane working from the IB and dry skin. Other then that, not much else to update!

Anyone feel free to ask me questions and updates about my accutane current and past experience.
