Hey Kaydon! Wow day 125!? You're about a month ahead of me. I think it's insane how we're all in the triple digits. It feels like yesterday I just picked up my first prescription.
I'm sooo glad you're clear except that one little poop. It will go away 
I am happy to say I have NO actives at the moment, and haven't broken out in.. 8 days now? YAY. I still have scabs healing that are over a week old, it's insaneee!
I am still in bed too ;( I got another friend to work my shift. I think I'm going to go back tomorrow. I just have 0% energy.

Taylor, I have been having fatigue issues too. It's weird though, sometimes (like now), I'm full of energy and feel great. Then I'll literally have ZERO energy and barely can keep my eyes open!

Day 125?
I™ve been out of pills for two days now. I fill my prescription for month five today. I™m counting today as day 125 because technically the medication is still in my system.
So, chin zit is gone and under the lip zit is doing its thing. It™s smaller but still there, it seems to be healing pretty fast. Once this thing heals I™ll be very satisfied with my face, overall.
The rest of my face is doing great. Forehead is clear. Cheeks are clear. Jawline is clear with the exception of the little bugger that has been there for months (although it has decreased in size). I™m pretty happy with the way things are going. I™m still open to the option of doing an additional month for a total of six months, however, by the end of this month I will actually be over my cumulative dose.
Oh, and I forgot to mention...my hair...I can run my fingers through it and pull out so many strands. I've always had hair that shed easily, but lately it's ridiculous. I am constantly losing strands of hair.

Holy crap, Katie, you're so close to finishing! Do you think if your hair continues to lose more strands, that you'll call it quits at Month 5? I've heard really weird stories about the hair loss. Definitely something to mention to your derm.
My derm has also suggested 5-6 months, both of which would put me over my cumulative dose (which is 120mg/kg of body weight, correct??) So I'm not sure if going over is even helping? I'm confused about that.
I am dealing with the hair loss too!! When I'm in the shower, I'm losing so many strands. I'm actually going to have my iron levels checked because I'm suspicious that could be a contributing factor (I have a history of low iron and when I take a supplement I see that I lose less hair).

All I know is that it's important to reach your cumulative dose. I'm not sure how much going over it really helps your chances of relapsing or success with Accutane. My dermatologist seemed very open to the idea of me doing an additional month, I actually am pretty sure she wants me to do another one. I'll be happy with 5 months, honestly...but this part of me is scared of relapsing and having my acne come back all over again. I don't want to go through such a long course of this drug for nothing. That would make me feel so awful. It would make anyone feel awful. A higher cumulative dose for Accutane is 150mg/kg.
Glad I'm not the only one. It's kind of scary. I mean, I've always shed so I haven't been paying it much mind but now it's like...wtf why am I losing so much hair? It's more than usual. Thank god I'm at the end of this. I just want things to go back to normal. Normal without acne!!

I was so tired this Saturday after sleeping for 10 hours, I took a 2 hour nap. The fatigue from this drug is nuts sometimes.

I can't believe I'm so damn close to being done. This whole course has just gone by so damn fast. I really want to do 6 months, but at the same time I don't. I'm going to talk it over with my derm in a half a month and see what she thinks.

I know, I'm at the tail end of my course if I don't do 6 months! Crazy, because I never thought I'd see the day. I've never really been too concerned with the hair loss until recently. I have thick hair, so I'm not sure if it's a big deal but I am a little concerned. I'm going to mention it to my derm when I see her next. I'm really not sure if I'll do another month after this one. I'm torn on what to do at the moment.
Day 126
Picked up my script last night for month 5. Now is the time to see the most improvement, I feel. And I think that things have improved in the past few days. The zit under my lip has began to heal. It™s still there, still visible. Just needs more time to go away.
I have two flaky patches that are bugging me. The only reason I haven™t picked them is because I™m at work and don™t want to mess my makeup up. Ahhh.
So does anyone else think that their skin other than their face is slightly pink tinted? I was told that I look pink, and I™m not sure if it™s because I was in the sun two weeks ago for 3 days in a row¦or if it™s the tane doing it. I don™t care either way.
My nose has gotten better, thank god. Watch¦now that I said that it™s going to get bad again.

Yes, my arms and chest looked a bit more pink recently, but it's only after a few days of sun exposure. It's gone more back to normal today because it's been overcast these past few days. It happens even if I wear sunscreen. I think the medicine just overall makes the skin reactive to sun, even if you're wearing sunscreen.
Sometimes I feel like a pink newborn baby or something else weird that flushes. lol I cant think of anything else that is pink at this moment...maybe...this girl?

Yes I have a pink tint too, my dad always comments thinking I have a slight sunburn, and I'm like dad.. I don't have a sunburn everyday haha. I can't notice it too much in the house, but outside it looks like a pale pink cast, which looks like a sunburn! But I'll take it over acne.
YOU GUYSSS - no breakouts in 9 days. WHAT UP! I still have this one scab that I've had for 8 days now that is slowly healing, anyone know what would make it heal more? Hydrocortisone or Neo? Hmm.
I'm finally going back to work tonight! Woohoo! I've been pretty bored just laying in bed for 3 days, sick..

So this under the skin bump that was pretty much on the bottom of my lower lip is surfacing. Lovely. It needs to come the f out and go away like the other two did. God damn. I'm over this shiznit.

It's weird. I feel like I have sunburn...but it isn't fading and I haven't been in the sun for two weeks. Maybe it's from driving? My arms are definitely pink. I feel like a glowing newborn pink baby, haha.

Okay, so I'm not the only one! It's so weird. My arms are pink but I haven't been in the sun much.
I'd say Neosporin! Neosporin has been my favorite for a while now.

I totally have a pink tint to my face too. Although I am not sure if it is the hyperpigmentation or if it is the tane burn..

My face has always had a pinkish tint, but I've just recently noticed it on my arms, especially after a friend asked me if I was tanning. Then the other one told me that I look pink. I don't mind it at all though. I think it's just tane burn.

This pimple on the bottom of the left side of my lip is annoying. It has surfaced. 
It™s not big, but it™s sore because it™s pretty much on my lip. The zit on the right side underneath my lip is healing, slowly.

Either way it hurts!

Yep. 🙁 It's the under the skin bump that I noticed two weeks ago. Of course it was a lingering zit waiting to sprout into a glorious lovely zit. It looks like a little whitehead.

What. The. Hell.
This lip zit on the left side has grown overnight. I officially look like I have a herpe. It™s pretty much impossible to cover, and either way it looks disgusting. I really, really hope this is the last one of these kinds of zits. It looks like a whitehead, however, I don™t think it™s poppable.

Thank you! I am finally noticing my features and not my skin. I've had cysts from 8-14, and the whiteheads, blackheads, bumps, and milia, and now NADA! I never knew how my features looked cause all I noticed was my skin. You are looking bootiful as well

Kaydon, BOOO for lip zits! I'm so sorry! So painful. I hope it is as bad as it's going to get and that now it will start healing! I hear you on the fatigue too...I slept for 2 hrs in the middle of the day yesterday and 10 hours last night... And I've got the bad headaches too I hope you feel better soon!

Okay, so I have a really bad headache going on right now. Might even be a migraine. I don™t know what™s causing it. I™m also absolutely exhausted and can™t think of anything else but going home and sleeping.
Katie, I totally had a nasty headache last night, but I also had a glass of white wine with dinner and my pills, which I know is a big no-no. Haven't you drank a bit of alcohol during your course? What happened to you? I felt like POOP last night. I need to not drink, but it's hard when there are like 6 open bottles of wine in your fridge! haha You guys/somebody need to come over and drink all this wine for us!
I've drank on and off my entire course. When I drink I am a total binge drinker lol. I don't drink all that often though, being a mom and all I can't exactly go out to the bars or parties anymore. I have done Tequila shots and had some margs and I was fine. I have drank like 5 or 6 beers and I was fine. Wine on the other hand I do get headaches from. I wonder why?
