Awwwww! I'm so sorry you're in pain and that sucks to be woken up by it. I can imagine it must be throbbing. I accidently kicked a kitchen cupboard yesterday and my big toe was killing me just from that so I can't imagine having surgery on it - ouch!! Did they give you any pain pills? Can you put your foot up at work? I'm sure having it down with all the blood rushing to it doesn't help. It's the same time here as where you are cuz I'm in FL - we're on the same coast. It's probably going to feel like a long day for you - I hope it goes quickly so you can get home and baby yourself!
I had a feeling I wasn't going to be able to sleep through the whole night. They didn't give me any pain pills. I didn't really get to ask the doc more than one question, because after it was done, he kind of hurried out of the room. I've been taking Advil every 4 hours. Sadly, I can't keep my foot up at work. I know it hurt so bad this morning getting out of bed and having all the blood rush down to my foot. Ugh, man!
Luckily my mom bandaged it for me this morning after I soaked it. 🙂
Kaydon, I hope you heal quickly! I was up at 3:30am this morning too, but with a very sick dog! Lots of carpet cleaning to do today!

I realized it's way too formal for me, and I love my colorful, bright, artistic side and I want to show that off! I've been finding all these DIY projects and going to Goodwill to redo furniture and shtuff.

It's a under-the-skin bump, and it's red around it, but last time I had one of those it just faded and went away completely, so I hope that's what this is, otherwise I know it will be a whitehead. My chin and the area around my mouth is looking great! Everything is healing in that area, FINALLY! My left cheek feels amazing too, now it's just this damn right cheek. 3 more months on this stuff should help! I am getting so sick of my nose, lips, and ezcema though - cry*

One active, yay! I have one VERY STUBBORN active, too. And an under the skin bump that hopefully goes away before turning into a full blown zit. The side effects aren't bad, they're just so inconvenient at this point.

Sorry you are in pain! I know how bad those things hurt. I have had it done to both my big toes 3 times on each toe. Finally I got the side of each big toe nail removed for good. They killed the nail bed there. Did you get yours killed off too? I hope you did, I was skeptic if it would grow back or not, it will be a year in Dec and it hasn't grown back at all so I hope that continues!!

Gina - I do not blow dry my hair. I used to, but my hair has gotten soooo damn dry, that I refuse to kill it some more. Even though I got about 6 inches cut off, my hair still feels sort of like hay cause Accutane is making it so dry, and I don't even straighten or curl is a ton.

It has been really hot here too! I am getting sick of it! I just want the windows open without all the heat and the humidity outside! Like 82 and breezy. Thats is what I want. I am so sick of 100's ughhh.

Although I am not a vodka fan. Im a Tequila fan... mmmmm makes my mouth water in a good way. I like rum a lot too! You would usually find me with a beer in my hand though. Mich Golden light mmmmm. Haha look at me going on about booze, I sound like a drunk now haha.
Let me know how the saline spray works for you, I have just been doing the aquaphor or vaseline up the nose. Gross but it works!
It's pretty bad when the sun is down and it's still muggy out! YUCK. I hate sweating, so I hate when it's hot like this. I don't mind 90 degrees, but anything above that makes me want to stay in air conditioning all day.
I was skeptical about it, but halfway through my drink my friend asked me if I still had a headache, and I was like HOLY CRAP, NO! I loooove vodka. I can't really handle any dark liquor, I have a very week stomach. I've been sticking with beer though throughout my Tane course since pretty much every time I've had anything other than beer I've gotten sick from it. I was fine though this morning!
The saline spray seemed to help somewhat as far as dryness is concerned. However, my nostril is sooo sore. I hate the feel of Aquaphor up there, but I've been doing that a lot lately!
i love wine and I'm a freak for champagne. Seriously, it's bad. If a guy buys me a bottle of champagne, it's all over. I lose my shit.

Your skin looks great Katie! Glad to hear the surgery went good - what a relief to have that over! Your lips look so good, how are you keeping them so moisturized? I am using the stupid aquaphor and lip balms and lotion but some days my lips just peel and peel and they are driving me nuts!
Thank you, Stacey! I'm so glad it's over. But I woke up last night around 3:30am in pain. I was actually crying, it was that bad. I couldn't sleep, and I've been awake since! Not sure what time it is where you are, but it's 10:30am here. I'm going to stick it out through this work day, and try not to be on my feet too much. Removing the bandages make me feel really disgusted, but I've got to do it. I can't wait for it to heal.
I don't know why my lips look good in pictures! They are actually quite chapped. I'm constantly applying Burt's Bees in work, then Aquaphor when I'm home. I really miss my normal lips, and nose.
Sorry to hear about the sleeplessness and pain. 🙁 I can't relate to the pain part right now, but I can't sleep either. It's torture. Sometimes I have to take Benadryl to fall asleep. It seriously works, but I don't know if it's good to mix it with Advil or other medications...knocks me out though. Day 106
Skin:
- Things are improving with each passing day now. I do have a bit of the œTane burn going on lately. My face is just redder. I don™t mind it. It™s easily covered up with some makeup. I still have some fading post-acne marks, as well as dry skin marks. No big deal. The little bumpy that I thought might turn into a zit hasn™t¦at least not yet.
- So Betsy mentioned this in her log, and I was thinking the same thing this morning. It really is amazing to look in the mirror and see yourself, instead of all the acne. I can™t fully explain how happy that makes me, to not dread having to look into a mirror, or see a reflection of my face.
Side Effects:
- My skin isn™t even as dry as it was right now. Not sure why, but I™m not complaining.
- My nose is so annoying. I put Aquaphor in it last night, and that somewhat helped. I seem to switch between Simply Saline & Aquaphor.
- Lips are still annoying, but that™s a given. I™m so used to it by now.
- So thirsty.
I have my appointment for month 5 tomorrow after work. I won™t get month 5 filled until the end of this month, though. I™m just seeing my dermatologist a week early, since I go on vacation next week.

Oh my god, 3 times on each toe? That's insane. This just sucks! I'm not sure if the podiatrist removed the part of the nail, but apparently what he did was permanent. He said he cauterized it. I'm just hoping it's gone for good. He said he can't promise that it won't come back, though. Hopefully it doesn't come back!

Thanks, things are getting better today. My toe still hurts, but I slept so damn good last night. Sorry to hear you're having troubles falling asleep. I have nights like those, and I hate it. I usually take "Simply Sleep" on Sunday nights when I'm prone to insomnia. It helps most of the time.

It's been throbbing on and off today. It feels fine now, but earlier I wanted to just go home and soak it. I'm going to cross my fingers that I never have another one of these things again. I might even buy those stupid toe spacers, hahaha.

Thanks! It's weird, because it'll feel okay, then start to hurt, then it'll feel alright again, and go right back to hurting. I keep taking IBUprofen. I think it's helping.

Day 108
So, yesterday I had my derm appointment for month five. I had to go a week earlier because I™m going on vacation next week. But it went well. We agreed that five months should probably be enough, but six is still an option if things don™t go well next month. Hopefully five months is all that I need.
Things are going good! No new actives and more healing of the two little spots that I have.
My nose is bugging me so much. I don™t even know what to do about it anymore.
So tomorrow I leave for vacation for a week! I™ll be able to go on the logs on my phone, but other than that I probably won™t be on a computer! I™m going to Sea Isle City, NJ. It™s a nice beach along the Jersey Shore. I™m excited. I still have to pack tonight. Yikes. Damn toe, I blame it on you! My toe is feeling better, by the way, but it still has to heal. I™ve been soaking it twice a day in Epsom salts and cleaning it with Peroxide.

I just ended month 4 today! Im not breaking out anymore finally. I am still getting a little zit here and there though. I wish that would stop. Any day now I hope! I would say that I was breaking out until month 4. Then things got under control. Hopefully that day is right around the corner Taylor! I start month 5 Monday... I am out of pills AGAIN. My derm refuses to ever schedule things correctly. Pisses me off. Not like going 3 days is a huge deal but it would be nice to have my pills for tomorrow and sunday too!

If doxycycline and finacea doesn't work for me, I'm going to ask for accutane. What was the worst side effect you dealt with? Again, congrats on having amazing skin again pretty girl
