I have the tane burn! I flush easy peasy and is a just a nice all over red! It is a pain in the butt but yes indeed I'll take it over acne!

It's going to be hot here AALLLLLL week ugh! Like, it's going to feel over 100. That's too much for me. But I still love the summer, I'll take this weather over 30 degrees ANY day.
I am at work - I have three more hours and then I have off tomorrow for the 4th of July. Woohoo. I'm supposed to hang out with an old friend tonight, but we'll see what happens with that.
Cleaning out your car...that reminds me....I need to get a new tire. Grr, cars and their parts!

Just remember that your acne is likely to get worse, before it gets better. I knew there was an initial breakout associated with Accutane, but when it hit me, it really made me depressed. But it will get better!

And yeah, I think i've set myself up enough to realize that an IB is going to happen and I'm not going to like it, but if it's what's going to lead me to clear skin in the future It's totally worth it. I'm usually depressed from my skin being bad and my hypertension anyways, so it shouldn't be too new of a feeling for me.
Thanks again for helping me out and talking to me about it. It's definitely crazy finally being on my way to getting this done with

I don't want to jinx myself, but today was an extremely happy day for Taylor.
It's 101 right now, and I'm about to have a huge, hot, greasy cheeseburger, how weird am I?

Happy Fourth of July, everyone! Hope everyone is having a good day. I had off work today, but unfortunately I have work the rest of the week. Eh, oh well. Take it for what it is, a nice day off. It's 100 degrees here today, not a day that I want to be outside unless I'm by a pool or the ocean.
So tomorrow I'll be in the double digits. 100 days since I started 'tane. I kind of can't believe it's been that long, wow. I'm ready to be done this course, though. I'm tired of the side effects and the dryness. I went out last night, and before I did I exfoliated my whole entire face and then moisturized and put new makeup on, and I still looked a bit flaky. Then I noticed I had a little flaky mustache going on. Definitely not sexy. Buuutttt...I'll take flakes over acne ANY DAY.
I haven't had any new zits since June 24th. That's 10 whole days. Over a week!!! Holy crap, that absolutely amazing. I am honestly amazed that I haven't had any new zits. I do have a very small zit that has been on my face for a long time on my jawline. It's so tiny and stubborn, but it doesn't really bother me at all.
So, I took a picture of my face as of today in comparison to my face at day 20 when my IB hit me.
All that's left is a bunch of PIH and red marks from me picking (WOOPS). I keep running my hands along my chin, forehead, and jawline and it's amazing to feel SMOOTH SKIN.
So - I don't really have any side effects except for dry skin. This is completely un-Accutane related, but I think I'm developing a summer cold. I also have an ingrown toe-nail that I may have to go to see a podiatrist about. Meh, oh well.
I just had to get tabs.. Ugh I hate cars!

Taylor, you're a smart cookie! Haha. I came home and took a steaming hot bath and my body was so hot for like an hour after it and I couldn't figure out why I was so hot. I'm stupid, but what can I say...hot baths relax me!
Peanut butter toast sounds good right now. I had McDonald's earlier today with my friend. I have such a lovely diet..... hahaha. I'm about to chug a bottle of water. I feel dehydrated.

That is SO awesome that your zits are drying up and going away! That's kind of what happened to the last two that I got. I can't believe how fast they just went away. Maybe you're about to get to the point that I'm at on your course! If so, yaaayyy! It's the best feeling to not have new breakouts.

So both of these problems aren't 'tane related...but I think one of my tonsils is inflamed. I've been having problems for the past year with tonsil stones, if you don't know what they are, google them. They're gross. I woke up today though and my left tonsil hurts. It hurts to swallow.
Then I have my ingrown toenail issue to go along with my tonsil problem.
All of this is happening at the wrong time!
Bahhh...I had a cold a week or two ago, too. I was like...wtf? Why am I getting a cold in the middle of Summer? It was after a period of stress, though. So I don't know if you're under any stress or just got over a stressful event, but that can weaken our defenses.
Bummer about the tonsils and the toe! Sometimes I feel like our bodies are like cars...everything breaks down at the same time. Hah! Hopefully you'll get it all sorted out and rest up if you need to.

I just had a cold in April, so I'm like wtf is going on?! I am not stressed at all. I think it might actually be allergies, though, now that I think about it. False alarm.
Luckily my tonsil feels better today, so hopefully that was a false alarm as well. My toe, however, isn't feeling too good. Not looking forward to going to a podiatrist. I feel squeamish at the thought. 🙁 I had to go to one 3 years ago for the same problem, same toe actually...and they numbed the toe with a needle and then had to cut the ingrown toenail out of the skin. EWW. Ugh ugh ugh.
Bodies are like cars! Good analogy. 😛 If it's not one thing, it's another. I'll take tonsil stones and an ingrown toenail over acne any day though. That's just how much I hate acne.

Thanks for reading through 43 pages of our Accutane rambles! I never thought that my log would become so long, hahaha. Thanks though!!! This hasn't been easy, but it has been worth every little bump in the road to clear skin. I'm thankful for Accutane!!! I feel like I have a huge piece of myself back, and that feeling is amazing.

So both of these problems aren't 'tane related...but I think one of my tonsils is inflamed. I've been having problems for the past year with tonsil stones, if you don't know what they are, google them. They're gross. I woke up today though and my left tonsil hurts. It hurts to swallow.

So I just came across this post. HOLY SHIT WE ARE TWINS ALL OVER THE PLACE NOT JUST TANE. I also had huge problems with tonsil stones AND ingrown toenails!
The Tonsil stones are NASTY and they leave a horrid taste in your mouth. I started getting them last year in September and I went and saw a ENT surgeon and got both my tonsils removed in the end of December. I couldn't be more happier. To have those gone, and not to have those things breaking off my tonsils and smelling like decay makes me so happy. Plus I haven't had a cold since. I had huge issues with strep throat too and I haven't had a case of that since earlier December. Best decision ever. Hurts but good decision.
With the ingrown toenails. I hate them, last year I got the corners of my nail bed destroyed on both my big toes. In the inner side of my toe. So there is a sliver of nail that doesn't grow back because they keep getting ingrown again and again. Another great decision.

WOW! That's craaaaazy. I've never heard of anyone else with so many issues the same as me, HAHA. But I feel like you've been through it all with all of your health related stories!
Ugh -- I should get my tonsils out. I feel better today, a lot better actually. The tonsil stone issue is weird. I had them when I was 14 and didn't tell anyone because I didn't know what they were, until this year when they came back. I would sneeze, and they would come out. EW! They smell, and they're disgusting. The only reason I didn't get them out this year is because I've been so damn concerned with my acne, and didn't feel like taking off for surgery. I might have to someday.
You're smart...last time I went to the podiatrist they asked me if I wanted them to destroy the corner of my nail bed...and like an idiot, I said no. Now here I am with an ingrown on the same toe. Doi. 
I'm hoping to find a podiatrist who can see me next week after work...which isn't easy...the one I called yesterday had nothing available.
I get tonsil stones too... they're gross! I got them for a bit last year and they suddenly made a new appearance yesterday. It may be because I've not been using mouthwash as frequently, I'm not too sure 
I think I'll be looking into getting mine removed at some point when my body's recovered from accutane because they smell foul and when I cough one up I heave for ages afterwards because they're so vile! Glad to hear the accutane is going well for you
