Hello Everyone.
As a licensed Cosmetologist I have learned several remedies for certain skin conditions. As for the Vinegar Remedy for Bacne it is 100% effective!
I've recommended this home treatment to many many of my clients. You can use either regular white vinegar or apple cider vinegar. Apple Cider Vinegar is preferable to some as it has a less pungent odor. The best way to apply is to purchase a Soft Loofa Sponge or Bath Mitten. You can find these in any large department or discount store in the beauty section where soaps and bath products are sold. If you can try to find one on a handle, this will allow you to reach all over your back area with out dislocating a shoulder, LOL. Simply wet the Loofa or Bath Mitten generously with the vinegar and give your back and shoulders a good rub goin over your most prone areas a couple times. You can do this while in the shower or the tub. It's not necessary to leave it on overnight as the skin is in itself quite the little sponge and will quickly absorb the vinegar. If you want to wait a few minutes then move on to your regular shower or bath that would be fine. You will notice a Major improvement within days. Vinegar is an all natural Antibacterial and thus kills all of those icky little germs that cause your acne and bacne.
Good Luck!! I promise It works and can save you hundreds if not thousands of Dollars on unnessesary expensive creams, drugs and doctors!!

Some really motivating success stories - Congrats !I am really having trouble with my bacne , I couldnt find ACV or JRWV , I only got Non-Fruit Vinegar - Will that work ?
You can give that try, I would suggest looking in your local Market for just plain White Vinegar, if you cannot find ACV. Good luck and I hope you find some success!

I have bought it.
The Vinegar is : "Special Non-Fruit Vinegar". The ingredients are 'Water' & 'Acetic Acid'.
I have searched a lot nearby, but couldn't find any other vinegar, I have placed an order for Apple Cider Vinegar & hopefully will get it in 3-4 days, while in meantime shall I apply the vinegar I have bought ? Is it safe or does it contains the necessary ingredients ?
Yes, You can use it. Acetic Acid is the chemical term for Vinegar. All vinegar is diluted with water as vinegar is an Acid and Pure Vinegar undiluted would burn your skin off. So yes, of course you can use what you have at the moment until your order comes in. Good Luck!!

Thanks a lot, will try it & report back.
Tried it, result is very good after just a week, using apple cider vinegar, apply very liberally( splash it on) before bedtime, smell soon goes. Greasy skin feels dry but not dry as when using BP. Please try it.
Hi guys
Just thought I'd answer some of the questions, I put it on with my fingers and just rub it on with a few drops of the Tea-Tree oil (which should be available at any good health food shop) and use it as an exfoliant (i.e. rub it in to take off the top layer of dead skin, especially good for getting rid of the hyperpigmentation associated with old spots). I used Japanese rice wine vinegar but I dont think it matters, any type of vinegar will do.
Not to disrepect anyone's opinions but the poster who thought that my bacne stopping and the use of vinegar was coincidental was not correct - I had bacne for about 15 years and whilst it was sometimes worse than other times it was always there in some form and when I first tried the vinegar it was especially nasty, until I started using the vinegar - as I said I only used it to try to get rid of the red marks and I was astounded when I stopped getting new spots.
It cost like $3 for a years treatment, you have nothing to lose and its changed my outlook on life (the beach is a different place when you dont have to worry about people looking at the dark red spotches on your back).
All the best folks.

To answer the First question, I've never seen it get worse only better. Just Use Cotton balls or Pads. Or you can even take toilet tissue and fold it into a good sized square, wet it pretty good with the Vinegar and just spread it around all over your back and shoulders. This even works on your face also if you wanna give it a try. Let it stay on for a while before you shower. Do this daily and I promise you'll be quite surprised. What's happening is that Vinegar is a natural Anti-Bacterial and is killing off all those icky little germs that get into the pores on your back. Good Luck and Keep us posted!

I am using it as per instructed..but I would like to know that does it help in fading away the red marks & scars due to acne ?
Yes, your red spots and other old areas that had breakouts but still are uneven in color will fade away.
thnx sooo much....ive been using it for about a day(just put it on last night) and i kinda sorta see results um my scars and stuff has faded a bit....thnx for all the help!!! o and one more thing should i continue with 50% water 50% acv or have more water than acv or less??? once again thnx for all the help
k so this morning was the first time i put it on after a shower and i noticed that my bac was kinda red and the purple-ish scars or spots were also red... just wondering if its normal.....also just some more info wen i put my mixture of 50% water 50% acv it stung a bit, i no its normal for it to sting a bit but about the redness??? plz let me know THNX
k srry so um i also hav acne on my face and using the vinegar well im not that much of a fan...so im thinking about buying clean and clear products such as:the blackhead eraser, deep cleaning astringent for sensitive skin, dual action moisturizer, clean and clear advantage acne spot treatment, persa-gel 10 maximum strength, and the clean and clear advantage acne cleanser....i no thats a lot of products um but anyways let me no about ur experiences with any of these products or any suggestions how it helped u if u recommend it etc..... thnx for all the help i rlly appreciate it!!!!!!
To reduce the smell what I do is that I add tea-tree oil which has a very good smell.
You can replace water with tea-tree oil i.e 50% ACV & 50% TTO.
You can also use turmeric+neem paste or lemon juice or even rose water to neutralize the smell.
Stinging is very normal & yes my skin reddens up a bit as I apply it , but gradually it becomes normal.
I'm continuously applying it, I just hope I see results quickly, especially on my scars & marks.

Wow, Lotsa questions there. LOL. O.K. Let's start with the first couple of Questions. You said you put the Vinegar on after your shower and everything seemed red. What most probably happened there was the fact that you took a hot shower, most of us do, cold ones aren't fun. So when you take a hot or warm shower you're increasing the blood flow to the surface of the skin, thus scars or old marks or new breakouts etc. will appear more obvious than before you took your shower. This is totally normal and nothing to worry about. As for as the slight burning you felt that is normal too, because again you just stepped out of a warm shower and your skin is nice and clean and the bloodflow is higher so you gonna get more absorbtion of anything you put on your skin after a good wash.
Now as far as the products you mentioned, that is a lot of product! Out of those there are only a couple you really would need in your routine. The Cleanser (choose one for sensitive skin) and the persa-gel. Use your persa-gel only to spot treat break-outs, don't use it all over your face because unaffected areas will get dry from the BP in there. Just use it at night before going to bed on break-out areas and sleep with it on then wash with a mild cleanser in the Morn. If you want to use an Astringent you can, however the Vinegar can be used as that also, but if you want to get something with some better odor to it that's your choice. Use your astrigent after your facial wash this will clean out what the cleanser didn't get to. Good luck and Hope This helped!
Oh and the 50/50 on the Vinegar and Water is fine. I've never diluted it when I used it but if you wanna continue doing it like that until your skin gets used to it then switch to straight out of the bottle that's just fine.

hi so srry that this has NOTHING to do with this "how vinegar cleared my bacne post" but im new to this thing and so idn how to start a new post anyways kinda of continuing my other post that uve answered i decided to keep it natural since i am pretty young and my mom sed that at my age the more u put on ur face the worse so heres my story...I search youtube for a mask that would clear my skin and moisturize it. I found this one video that showed you can apply honey to your face. I read the comments on the video before using this. They were all positive so I tried it; moreover, I followed all the directions that were given. After washing off the honey mask I noticed my face was red and felt hot and burning. I then rinsed my face with cool water and that seemed to do NOTHING. I went to sleep and the next day my face was dry, red, and still burning! So, before I went to sleep I thinly cut slices of cucumbers and applied them to me face as a mask(I tried this over the summer and my face almost all cleared up). I left it on for awhile, long enough for my face to soak up the juice. I saw that my face was a pink-ish color and my face cooled down. Today when I woke up, my face was STILL red and burning; however, now there was dry red patches that itched really bad. I also noticed small bumps all over my forehead. PLEASE help me regain my natural "normal" skin. One last thing, my mom or I don't like to buy new products so if there is an all natural product using items I might have at home will be great. Thank you.
Yes, There is a totally natural and Cheap way to help you out and you already have it in your home. Take a raw egg and seperate the white from the yolk. Smear the Yolk of the egg all over your face just as if your were doing a mask. Let it dry and set, about 20-30 mins. then rinse off with warm water. You will notice a difference in your skin texture and moisture after the very first time you do this. Try to do this daily and you will completely change the way your skin looks and feels! I promise it works and you will not smell like breakfast, LOL!! Good Luck and let me know how this works for you!!!
Hi guys!
I thought I would give this thing a shot, since there seems to be a lot of positive results from other members.
A bit about me; I'm 17, male and suffer from moderate bacne (at least 30-40 spots on my upper back and a few on my neck) and 5-10 spots on my face.
I live in Australia and I bought the following;
-Cornwell's Apple Cider Vinegar ($2.50 from Coles)
-Bosisto's Bontanicals Tree Oil ($10.50 for 50mL from Quality Pharmacy)
I will mix the ACV & TTO 50/50 and apply it nightly before I go to sleep. I read somewhere it's best to not sleep on my back, so I'll give that a shot.
So wish me luck, I'll try to give an update in about 7-14 days hopefully, and I'll tell you guys how it goes.

You mentioned in your first posted question that you had some patchy itchy areas to start with, and also that you had the small "goose-bump" sized areas on your forehead. Give it another day or so of doing the Egg Yolk mask before freaking out. Your skin is still healing from the first reaction you had to the honey mixture you were trying and I don't have any reason to believe that the Egg Yolk is the problem. Unless you have severe allergies to eggs of some sort, then you should start to heal up nicely over the next few days. I'm sorry that happened, but this was just your first go at it, again you need at least 3-4 days of doing this to heal the damage from that terrible reaction you had. Be Patient and Good Luck. Keep me posted. If it doesn't clear up in a couple more days message me and I'll help you figure this out.
i just found this website today and im still learning on how to post things so i dont really know if i did this right... but anyways i have back acne prety bad and acne on my face as well and have just started getting acne on my chest(1-2) breakouts not bad at all.....ive noticed that alot of people say vinegar works really well and tea tree oil combined does too. I currently use the clean and clear system for my face (which seems to work well at keeping tons of new breakouts from forming) and regular soap for my back which has no results. I tried proactive and it had no result at all. acne is kind of gentic in my family and my sister has to got to the dermatoligist to keep hers u nder control but after reading different posts on here i feel there is hope for clearing up acne w/o spending tons of money. if any one has any advice of help i would really really appreciate it b/c im really tired of hiding due to acne PLEASE HELP!!!!
I am trying this out, I bought Nakano natural rice vinegar and tea tree oil today.
I use sea salt in the shower, rinse off and pat dry. Then use a cotton ball to apply the vinegar lightly, followed by a dab or two of tea tree oil. I'm doing this on my chest and back.
The smell of the vinegar isn't so bad after combining it with a couple of drops of tea tree oil. Hope this works!!
