I was so glad to read your post! I thought I might be the only one who has been helped by using shampoo on their face....!!

About six months ago, I tried using Suave Men's Deep Cleaning shampoo (not the one with condition) on my face - it completely cleared up my acne and I haven't had a breakout since! (This was after 35+ years of terrible breakouts!!!)

I do occasionally get whiteheads, but they're small and disappear on their own.

DO NOT leave on your back overnight..... I did that a few times and am left with little white burn scars all over my back. This was about 4 years ago, and they're still there...

Does head and shoulders for coloured hair work?

Which head and shoulders is optimal? Just the classic clean?

If you have found zinc is an effective acne controller for you than you should just buy a bar of zinc pyrithione soap and not mess around with Head & Shoulders. Noble is a brand of zinc soap available on amazon and in specialty pharmacies. When I used Head & Shoulders for a few months to wash my hair it didn't seem to clean/rinse well and it's got extra chemical goodies in it too. I don't think I'd use that crap for my face!
