From what I know, that is SUPPOSED to be the reaction to benzoyl. Flaking and dryness is a good thing. Not good if you become red and inflamed. Then you probably have some sort of sensitivity to it. What brand are you using and do you have someone you can call, like a trusted acne esthetician who can help explain your reaction and what you should look for?
