Wish I could answer that for you. BP seems to cause me to break out more in winter, but it's ok in summer. Have you tried switching to salicylic acid?

Salicylic acid is less common in the UK however I have tracked down somewhere (legit) that sells it. Might try changing BP product first in case it's an absorption issue but will order the SA. Thanks!

It could that your skin has changed. I did great on the regimen which is all about the BP. It one day suddenly gave me eczema that has never gone away.

Changes in the skin or acne? Not sure but i used to use aczone and avar e creams for my face and they worked wonderfully the first few months then all of a sudden it stopped working.

Update: Bought a brand new tube and it works again. I had heard that BP as a chemical compound is inherently unstable (e.g. affected my changes in pressure, temperature, accidentally leaving the lid too loose etc.)

So for anyone suffering the same issue, perhaps try a new tube before you try something else.

Acnecide because it is the only OTC product in the UK.
