Hi all,

I've recently started on a regime of Doxycycline once a day, BP in the evening and Differin in the morning as prescribed by my doctor. So far nothing has improved massively but the redness and flaking has kicked in.
Normally I'd use Cetaphil moisturiser but this seems to sting more than it should so I'm looking for a moisturiser that will be a bit more gentle but wont shine up my face too much.

Any recc's would be appreciated as Im a bit lost! Cetaphil always used to be answer when my skin was sore!

Because your skin is already irritated, it is common that the moisturizer will burn. I was prescribed differin before and experienced the same occurrences. The key is getting your skin adjusted to the Differin by initially using it every other day and then when your skin adjusts, try every day. I hope this helps!

ive been using Differin for about a month now and after my skin got used to it and stopped being so irritated, i have been using the Aveeno daily moisturiser at i love it, it hasnt stopped by skin from peeling but has 100% stopped it from being dry and stopped my skin from being red, itchy and irritted. i would definately recommend it and its super cheap as a bonus.
