Has anyone tried this and had success? It's 2% salicylic acid with glycolic acid, cucumber, and green tea. I usually use the Neutrogena deep clean gentle scrub, it says it has BHA in it but doesn't list it as an active ingredient and it helps my skin somewhat but i think i need something more powerful. Should I use the stress control before going to a dermatologist? Has anyone seen success with this product or 2% salicylic acid?? My acne is mostly comedones, a few inflamed ones, and red marks.

I have! Didn't really do much for me because I needed something stronger. It may work for you though, when I tried it, I mostly had zits.

Yes I tried this and it gave me the most awful allergic reaction! Even looking at that image of it makes me cringe now... :P

Moral of the story, do a patch test because this cleanser has a lot of ingredients.

My story aside, I think it would be good for your skin if you say you have comedones. I really like glycolic acids effect on my skin.

If you have't tried glycolic acid/aha before then it would be a good bet before you see a derm and don't feel your acne is urgent enough to see the derm straight away.

Acne washes have always made my skin worse. Wash with something that does not strip your skin. For BHA, get Paula's Choice BHA liquid 2% (sample is $8 plus free shipping and lasts a month). Apply thinly at night. It makes skin shiny but its gone in the morning. Its a great product. Simple cleansers have always been best for me and I have found that people in recovery tend to agree. Witch Hazel is also good.

I've always been curious about PC products i think i might have to finally try it! (i always refer to the paulas choice reviews for products... i should've known to not use this product bc she gave it a bad review lol) Thanks! I think BHA is perfect for my skin type so hopefully ill have good luck with it.
