Hi, so I've been using a tea tree witch hazel toner for around a month or two now this is the first toner I have used, however I think that it may be irritating my skin and making my red marks worse as it contains alcohol? Is this possible?

If so what toner should I use and what things can I do to get rid of red marks on my skin from old spots, thanks guys

Hi AcneSufferer9

The alcohol is def going to be an irritant. Why don't you try SOOTHE and REVERSE from R+F? Their two separate products but the one will help with sensitivity and the other can help get rid of any permanent discolorations, etc. if you have any of that. Mod edit

Witch hazel toner w/alcohol can definitely irritate. I know from first hand experience. That was my only experience using toners so I can't offer any other alternatives.

Do you use a good moisturizer after you apply these treatments? For me, I have found that moisturizing after apply toner ans spot treatment shelps curb redness and irritation. You could also try diluting your products with water.
