I'm not sure I'm posting this in the right place but I really need help on what to wash my face with.
I have acne (which is not severe but still bothers me a lot) and I have facial eczema (which is getting fairly bad). I need to use face washes that don't have soap in them as soap irritates my eczema. I used Dermol for a while but I ran out. I'm not sure if the ingredients in that were suitable for acne.
Yesterday I went shopping and I got an E45 emollient wash but I've looked at the ingredients and it contains Laureth-4 which is apparently very bad for acne ( http://www.acne.org/comedogenic-list.html ).
Now I have no idea what I could possibly use, if anyone could recommend me something, you'd be such a huge help!!
Hi,
I can completely relate to acne problems, unfortunately I've always had really clear skin up until my early twenties.... I then started getting knots under the skin around my jawline, along with normal bumps (hormonal acne, I've been told) and I hated it!! It ruined my self-esteem. I tried everything that I could get my hands on and nothing worked. I was just wasting time, money and patience. Anyhow, a friend of mine introduced me to an otc regimen created by 2 dermatologists and I decided to try it. I started noticing changes in my face within about 2 wks. It's not something that will make it completely vanish immediately, but if you wash your face with this stuff at least once a day, you'll have to see some drastic improvement. And if you continue to use it, it will more than likely clear up your acne altogether! It also helps with acne scarring. Maybe you will try this product and will be very impressed with it... I know I am a firm believer in it, and there's no telling what my face would look like at this point had I'd not ran up on it. Also, you may want to consider changing your diet up.... Maybe increasing your water intake, along with avoiding oil-based foods as well. It depends on your diet and what you're already doing, but that is something to consider. Please let me know if I can help you in any way. Good luck with everything!!
