I am prone to pores and blackheads. I am able to manage the situation with a water peel and clay mask, but I really wanted to incorporate a BHA into my routine as it is rotor router for the pores. However, I am allergic to salicylic acid (and asprin). Are there any BHA alternatives?

Sulphur is an alternative. I have Grandpa's thylox soap and Clearisil's tinted adult acne cream (the one with sulphur). Tea tree is an option. I have Desert Esence's thouroghly clean face wash and Burt's bees blemish touch stick. I really like glycolic acid. I've tried many products but really like Alpha Hydrox oil free treatment. One of my very favorite products for blackheads is Aztec Indian Healing Clay. You could also use acv, activated charcoal soaps, african black soap and goat milk soap. People also have luck with using hydrogen peroxide as a toner or luck with epsom salts.
