I started using olay complete care sensitive skin SPF 15 recently and my face seems to have got really itchy and then red. I'm guessing it's because of that.
Who has any other good moisturisers from the uk? I use cetaphil but only at night because it is too thick and greasy. For the regimen by the way
I have been through every moisturiser for guys there is... In the end I started using my girlfriends, skin so soft from the Avon.
It does me skin wonders, usually within an hour of leaving the house in the morning my skin is VERY dry and uncomfortable (although through the day it does get better, I assume the oils wake up later haha) but the avon stuff works a charm for me.
I use Cetaphil as well! I've been using it for two years now and it's lovely to use. Great for sensitive, acne-prone skin and you only need a little bit so the bottle lasts a long while. As you say, it can leave the skin a little greasy on application though so like you I only use it at night, but I always wake-up with my skin mattified and glowing which is nice.
During the day I use a skin 'hydrator' (according to the lady at the clinic it's very different from a moisturiser but I don't really see the difference) from the Sk:n Clinic here in the UK. It's from the anti-blemish range and is non-greasy and moisturising. It's a little pricey though - but if you're just using it during the day it should last just over two months, or more considering I use quite a bit on my face. It's really lovely to use, mattifying, and good for sensitive skin.
For a less pricey option, I used to use a Simple moisturiser with SPF15 and that worked great too - I bought it after my Olay moisturiser left my skin oily.
