Gladskin Acne Regime - A New Approach?

Hey guys,

I was browsing around the net the other day and I came across the GladSkin acne regime: http://www.gladskin.com/en/acne

Has anybody ever used GladSkin before? It seems to take a refreshingly different approach to acne control and the website isn't filled with the usual gimmicks claiming that you're going to be 100% clear over night.

It's pricey, but I figured stuff it and went and ordered a bottle of the Acne gel. It arrived today and it's only 30ml, but I'm really curious to see how it works.

Has anybody used this before? The internet brings up hardly any results on it.

Cheers guys!

Tom.

Bump, has nobody else tried/heard of this? I've been using it for a week and haven't seen any results yet.

Hi Tom!

I use Gladskin for a while now! And for me it really works, it took a few weeks before I saw any results, but now; my spots are (almost) gone and I have no more new breakouts!

How does it work for youu?

Cheers, Fabie

Hey Fabie,

Thanks for your reply! I've been using Gladskin for about 2 weeks and, so far, I haven't noticed any difference with my acne - though since it's only been 2 weeks, I'm trying to not let this discourage me!

The one thing it has been absolutely AMAZING for though is shaving irritation and the red marks which go along with it. I shave everyday and previously it didn't matter what type of razor/gel I used, I would always experience horrible irritation. A quick application of Gladskin and some moisturizer following a shave and within about 15 minutes my skin feels back to normal. In fact, I'd go as far to say that the product is worth it for this alone!

I'll report back to this thread in a few weeks to report on any future developments. It would be good to hear from any others who are using the product as well!

Tom

Just a quick further update, I've been using Gladskin for 3 full weeks now and, as I half expected, there's still no obvious difference. I'll keep the treatment going, but I've got a horrible feeling this could be another 30 down the drain...

Ah really? That sucks.

I think it's a good thing you keep on going the treatment, maybe it needs more time for any results!!

But not a 30 down the drain, because you said it works really well for your shaving irritation lol! I saw on the website that they have a product for shaving irritations as well!!

I really hope it will work for you:D, because for me it's the best product ever!! My face is pimple freee!!

Good luck!

Seriously? They didn't claim it worked, they are looking for someone who has used it.

You need to chill.

that's not what they should be looking for, they should be looking for reliable reviews, not a random people claiming to have used it

Ah thanks, as I say I'm definitely going to keep going just in the hope that does it eventually kick in. Out of interest, how long did you have to use it for before your saw definitive results? Thanks a lot for your replies!

This is good logic, but not when a product is very new to the market. I could find multiple websites where there are hundreds of 5 star reviews for Proactive, Clean and Clear etc, but this doesn't mean it's going to work (in my case, they certainly haven't!). Since this is a new product and the only reviews I could find where ones published on the firm's own website, I turned to this forum to see if anybody else had used it and what there results were like.

Anyway, I'll report back in a few weeks and then you can hopefully have another review to add to the product ;)

That's what reviews are. People claiming to use the product and stating how effective it was for them. That person who said it worked for them basically gave the OP a review of his experience. It was a good one so the OP have it a try. When fighting acne it's all trial and error.

What is a reliable review to you?

Everyone is different and not everything is going to work for everyone. That's why there are different acne treatment options.

Tom, does it work already ??

After a few weeks I saw some results, but it took like 6 or 7 weeks before I saw definitive results! I am still very positive about Gladskin!

I am about to order a new bottle! Btw do you use the Cream or the Gel?? I have the cream, but thinking about ordering the gel this time..

Thanks for your replies as well:)

Hey Fabie,

Sadly I've had no good results yet sad.png In fact over the last week I've broken out pretty badly. The current bottle lasts until nearly the end of July, so I'll keep going for another 4 weeks or so to see if anything kicks in. I've been away for the last week and my diet and so-on has been awful, so hopefully things should calm down pretty soon.

I'm using the gel instead of the cream, as I always find they absorb a lot quicker. I can apply the gel, wait about 2-3 minutes, then it'll be completely dry and I can apply Cetaphil moisturiser over the top.

I'm so pleased Gladskin has worked for you! As I say, it's not looking too positive for me, but I'll keep going until the end of the course just to see what happens. Thanks again for your kind replies!

The Cetaphil may be a problem for you. It breaks many people out with whiteheads.

Hey guys,

Just another quick report back on how my skin is doing while on GladSkin. I'm presently 6 weeks into the treatment and, still, I can see no definitive results :( It's weird, because I seem to go through a patch of the skin on chin and cheeks been really clear for up to a week, then I'll get a breakout, then repeat. Very strange, but I guess GladSkin is helping a tiny bit in that the breakout cycle is reducing.

Having said that, my forehead is as bad as ever - GladSkin has made literally no difference to this whatsoever!

Because I wanted to try the system for a full 8 weeks, I invested in a second bottle (that's another 30 quid gone... one of these days, when I'm clear, I'll work out how much I've spent over the years on acne treatments), so I'll keep going until that runs out in about 3-4 weeks. Fun times.

I only just saw an ad for this and am disappointed there aren't many reviews online apart from their own website, especiallyafter sixyears since the last post here. They claim there are no comedogenic ingredients in their FAQ but salt is one and that's amainpore clogging culprit in general but also particularly for meso I'm afraid to try it.
