Just beginning my second week but I'm really struggling :(. So my skin is peeling and feeling rough which I know is standardbut now my skin has now broken between my cheek and nose which is a bit worrying. I'm moisturising with two pumps but it's literally just sitting on my skin and takes around 10-15 minutes to absord. Is any of this normal? Suggestions are very welcome

That's probably the dead skin cells from all the peeling from BP. If its been two weeks then there's going to be many of them. An abundance of dead skin cells on the face can really make it hard for topical products to absorb on the ski , wbich may be why your moisturiser just sits above your skin. Chemically exfoliate and see if that works. Don't physically exfoliate because that may irritate.

I suggest moisturizing with one pump...letting it dry and then apply the next pump.

If throughout the day your skin feels dry and flaky, you can always add more moisturizer.

That's normal. Moisturizer takes 10 minutes to dry give or take 5. Try using less BP or night only to avoid the extreme dry skin (while still being generous day and night with moisturizer). Slowly add more BP if you need it and if your skin permits!

Everything you're experiencing is normal. Just try muscling through the best you can, and moisturize as often as needed until your skin feels more in balance. You can even try adding a few drops of jojoba oil for extra hydration. In a few more weeks you'll be able to add AHA+ if you want, and this will provide some gentle chemical exfoliation that will help slough off the dead layers and help your products absorbs better. Dan's AHA+ is seriously the bomb!

Uncomfortable redness and dryness, flaky skin, and product absorbency (or lack thereof) are all common complaints, and the main reasons people give up. The main goal of the early weeks of the Regimen is getting skin used to the treatment, which is no easy task. Once you're over this hump, it gets easier, treatment gets more comfortable, and many start to see some initial results, but it may be many more weeks before significant results are seen, depending on the individual. So just keep your eye on the prize, which is clear skin! |::)
