I've been using Dan's BP for a few years now and have had fantasic results. I went from having moderate acne to clear in about three months. However for the past four months I've been having problems with acne again. I started using face powder about a year ago to try and set my make up. My face looked great but after a few months of wearing it I began breaking out. Now I've been using the same routine for the past few years and have had no changes in my diet or health ect so I put it down to the face powder. I cut out the powder about eight months ago but I'm still having problems. My skin seems to get big red spots and sometimes they are cystic and under the skin. Now my skin is no where near as bad as what is was a few years ago but I can't figure out why I'm getting acne again. I've heard that BP cannot become immune to the skin but it seems so strange as to why it's not working. I've had my current BP bottle for about five months now so was wondering maybe if it's gone off? or the solution is changed? I was just wondering if anybody as had any similar problems?

You can check to see if it has expired. The expiration date will be printed on the bottom of the bottle, or if you have the tube version it is on the crimp of the tube.

Sometimes for people who have been on The Regimen for a long time, they begin to slack off on the process or on the amount of bp without even realizing it. The first clue I have that you may not be using enough benozyl peroxide is that your bottle has lasted for 5 months now. If used as directed, the 16oz bottle should last 2-4 months. So, perhaps you haven't been using enough and that may be why you aren't staying clear. The full recommended amount is two full pumps twice per day for best results.
