I've ordered the AHA+ cream from acne.org to start the regimen and I chose to order that instead of the other regular cream because I have red scarring and hoped that would help. But now I'm second guessing my decision. Do you use the AHA cream as your regular cream? Or should it be used sparingly? If it's sparing, how often do you use it?
AHA cream isn't mild enough to use as a moisturiser, especially when you are using BP. I've only been using the BP for 3 days but I couldn't put AHA cream on my face at all right now it's that sensitive. Maybe after I've been using this for a while my skin will toughen up but I definitely wouldn't use it as moisturiser.
Do not use the AHA when starting the regimen. It will burn and hurt and turn your face so red. Use a really good moisturizer and maybe after you first month, once your skin has gotten used to the BP, you can try once or twice a week to use the AHA as an evening moisturizer. But never use the AHA instead of a moisturizer.
