hi, just wanted to share something with the forums ive noticed, as it might help someone.

other than being careful with what i'm applying to my face and what i wash my face with, iv'e had good results by quite simply swapping coke-cola for fizzy lemonade. you might not think that's not a big deal but if your like me and addicted to the stuff, its worth noting.

-ive read of people who have quit fizzy drinks completely for their skin.. but its nice to know lemonade is ok (well at least for me)

since quitting coke,my skin is a lot less angry/red and ive not have any breakouts, just the odd spot.

Is it bottled lemonade or do you make it?

I don't drink it often (perhaps 2-3 times a week) but it makes me wonder how much one would need to drink for it to have a significant effect over acne breakouts.

Any if it contains sugar, since it affects hormones quite dramatically. It also has a really acidic effect on the body! Am glad the original poster had a good experience swapping a bad drink for a less bad one though!

I think coca cola is not useful for our skin cause of ingredients. And the reason is not just in too much sugar but in flavor enhancers and colorants
