Maybe because I was living on a healhty lifestyle before I started the fast. What is even more amazing is that I did ot lose a lot of weight! My scarred pores on my cheeks is healing very quick. Or its probably the glow that makes it look good. My veins on my hands before were prominent, now it is starting to flat out! My nose scar is still he same though. Still hoping to see sone improvements. I get pimples at times but very occassional. Since i started the fast i did not develop any.
That sounds great especially the fact that you heal quickly, surely a good sign!! How are you passing time by the way? Are u bored haha, i think that would be the worst thing!!
Nobody can tell u how safe it would be, but fasting in general is nowhere near as dangerous as its made out to be so decide for yourself!! Have u active acne still by the way or is it just scars you have?
Oh and one more thing my red marks on my face faded a lot. That was just four days of fast. From a distance you wont notice them anymore, what I could also see is an acne free skin.
Broke the fast. My vacation has ended, my employer just called amd said that i need to report to sign the contract for the job I applied for. The job is not that physical, but it would be my first time so I might be stressed and not so good things might happen. Broke the fast with a little ccumber juice. And a little slice of banana. will be fasting again soon, probably after 3 weeks. Will keep you updated guys. Have a nice week end!

There might be no difference in the picture since it is not yet fully healed. There is also a white head that popped out from the scar so it is what probably what made my scar less noticeable. Like what i have mentioned in my own thread, I only fasted for 4 days. We have to fast for 2 weeks or more for the scar to heal. And prior to my fasting, i lived a healthy life style. I was a part time raw foodist and vegan, which probably contributed to my fast healing. My scar did not completely fill up. My skin is still glowig up to now, because I still eat healthy. It could also be one reason why yhe scar is less noticeable. I plan to do a longer fast when I'm done with my training in my new job. I am not FORCING you guys to do this. I have done lots of research with regards to water fasting, thats why I myself performed the fast. Please if you are new with the topic, do not try water fast. I am physically and mentally ready when I did this.

my main probs are scared pores, redmarks and 1 scar (but im not sure by now if it didnt apeared there from the beginning like a part of a face tbh ~_~ so yea not much scars here but pretty bad texture anyway)

also improtant: what happens to face fat/volum/plumness?? colagen, elasticity, subcutaneous fat?? do u loose those or actually improve or what??

i lost a total of 2kg for 4 days and I believe its water fat that I lost. I gained back my weight very soon after 3 days of eating and I am actually happy about that because I am really skinny. I broke the fast with cucumber juice and a very little slice of banana. I did that for 2 days and on the 3rd day I ate a very small fish meat. By now I am back to my normal eating. I eat high protein foods because I want to fast again after a week or two. One more thing I noticed, i guess my nose scar was back to its depth. The scarred pore also returned back. Not so familiar if it is of the same size before but it is deeper and larger compared to what it looked like after my fast and 2 days of cucumber juice and banana. So I am planning to do a longer fast. ) You might want to go along with me at the same time.

Shiki i am planning to fast again after a week or two. PM me if you want to fast with me at the same time.

I ate 400-1000 calories a day of vegs and chicken and fish, no fat ever. Around 8 weeks with weekly carb loading (fruits, soy yoghurt with oats). BUT I also did 2 hours of low impact cardio a day minimum most days. I achieved a killer body and did this to improve my looks a bit, although I am skinny, 5 ft 8, 128-130 Pounds now. BUTTTTT I literally looked like hell in the face. I didnt believe nutrition can make this difference.
Now I eat around 1600-2500 depending what I do/dont. I have a better body, because I am firmer and leaner abs, because I am not always bloated of the exess proteins. Big nutritious smoothie with loads of fat in the morning, fish, organic meat or eggs or sweet potatoes with fat anf rainbow salad in the evening. My scars are fading almost 100%, but this time not only is my face clear, my skin glows. Highly recommend black seed oil.
Water fasting may be good for some, but for me every kind of fasting is depleting the organism of nutritions. I literally started to "glow" after I calculated the needed amount of food to meet 100% vitamin E from food, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Vitamin A, Bs, SELEN, Copper Etc. The menus I made for myself are calculated to be my medicine. I only supplement vitamin D and a skin-vitamin complex of different things such as medicine yeast, some Bs, Zinc Biotin etc.
It is hard, but it is worth it.
This thread is nonsense. There hasn't been a single bit of info, theory or studies as to why doing this horrible thing to yourself would make your scars 'heal.' Only people telling each other it does and links to other such forums or blogs with people telling each other it does.
Why would you listen without even a hint of reasoning as to why this would work?
Well, I did look into why. And that is that protolease enzymes (and other mechanisms of autophagy) when not used for digestion would travel your bloodstream and eat up virility, parasites and whatnot. And scar tissue. But they aren't going to rush to your epidermis and eat up your acne scars. They'll be breaking up scar tissue in your arteries, heart and other internal organs and muscle. Scars that interfere with bodily functions.
You might stimulate the desired effect in the desired area by massage, incision, the duct tape method, etc, to break up the scarred tissue requiring new tissue to form, hopefully smooth tissue this time. That might stimulate blood flow to the area and thus the enzymes.
But this would be a little by little process. And it would be far better to help your enzymes do this task on a regular basis with intermittent fasting.
