If you're already getting your dietary zinc, then start with an incredibly small dose and always take it on a full stomach. A little bit more probably wont hurt, and zinc has been proven to be extremely beneficial to acne sufferers (especially for men), so I would give it a go and see how you feel. If it's not helping, don't increase the dose since small amounts are petty powerful.
Zinc vitamins, even broken in half, made me violently throw up for over 2 days, so I can't take them.
