Could you tell me, that is if you know, if one is able to take the B5 suppliments coincided with accutane? I'm on my either 3rd or 4th month -- my skin's very good, just a few superficial scars; it's just i want to maintain my skin after coming off accutane.
is this possible?

ok so guys, ive been having weird problems...
i just started doing the pantothenic acid pills regimen and ever since i started ive been having really bad persistent hiccups... any body have an explanation for thsi? is it something thats gonna go away? cuz if not ill have to stop this regimen
I have had some really good experiences with B5, I have to say that of all the products I have used to fight acne, B5 is buy far the best, I can see the results within hours!
But like all products people react differently and some may find that it drys the skin, personally I think my skin is softer, less oily, and looking much better, I havent experienced any dry skin at all.
As for the high dose, I find that taking no more than 5g aday is enough (in pill form), you have to remember that vitamin B5 is found in small amount in all foods, and in high amounts in whole-grains and eggs!! Also use a moisturizer that contains B5, there are loads out there, you only need to look, If you do have dry skin just add 2 drops of jojoba oil to your moisturizer.
Taking the pills with a DECENT meal really helps too. Try to eat 3 times a day, a decent breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Many people including myself are noticing that we feel hungry more often, to combat this, I eat snacks (like a sandwich, you'll find that bread is quite filling!)
Some people have mixed views on this, but diet really does help, especially for those with oily skin, if you eat oily foods your skin will be slight more oily.
I want B5 to control my oil, so ive been looking into B5 for a long time now,
This is fucked, i just blew 11 dollars and realised its only going to last me 2 days....
My bottle only has 50 tablets at only 250 gram of pantotheric acid and 250 grams of calcium pantothenate, whateva that means.
I'm gonna check out GNC tomrow.
while taking B5 will your oil continue to decrease over time or will it just decrease some then stay at that amount? i have been taking it for about 2 1/2 weeks now and i have seen a slight decrease in oil but there is still much more oil than i want. will i continue to see a decrease in oil?
keep it up and it will decrease more. been on b5 for6 1/2 months havnt had a pimple in 2 weeks:D appose to 3-7 a day.<3b5
Yeah, do you really take 10 grams a day? 100 tablets of 250mg Panthotenic Acid cost me 95000 rupiahs here in Indonesia. That's about 10 US dollars. If I take 40 tablets a day, that means I will have to spend 10 dollars every 2.5 days or 120 dollars every month. This is impossible for most of Indonesians, considering the monetary crisis this nation suffers from.
I'm 23. From an article I read, 85% of people have acne when they are between 12 to 24 years old. That means I only have to wait for another 6 months to get out of this misery. Can I take 250mg or 500mg a day instead?
Is there a suggested alternative anywhere in these 47 pages for Acne Miracle now that their entire business has completely buckled?
I was on the stuff for about two years with great results (i.e., clear skin, the only one I was looking for) and now I've had to switch to Vitacure. Vitacure does nothing, and the only other option I know of would be Vilantae, which appears to be twice as expensive as Acne Miracle.

guys I have been on b5 for 7 months. I take 10 grams . acne has decreased a lot but dryness has taken over and breakouts as well. probably because of the dryness , i guess. anyways, do you guys use a moisturizer . or should I decrease the intake of b5 . what about honey is it any good?
Hi guys,
I started a B5 regimen 9 days ago (purchased from http://www.acne-vitamins.com/ ) and have had decent results thus far. I'm hoping for a full cure in a month's time. Wish me luck!
In addition to the B5, I use this: http://www.thevitamincure.com/index.html . I also have cut out junk food, milk, etc from my diet and drink at least 8 cups of water a day. I'm confident I have a winning formula here. B5 is said to boost one's oil metabolism, whilst extreme doses of Vitamin A shut down oil glands. Couple the both together (which I have), and hello flawless skin!
I read through a good majority of the posts in this thread and I have a question... It seems like all the people that post on here are the ones that try the B5 ordeal and it works for the first month, or whatever, and then they repost 3 weeks later saying they just had the biggest breakout ever. What I am basically saying is, has anyone on here had actual LONG TERM clearing of their acne while being on the b5 regimen?
I purchased this 2 days ago from vitacost.com:
500mg Pantothenic acid tablets
b-50 complex
30mg Zinc capsules
2mg Copper capsules
2sg Flax/fish oil combo capsules
*They are all TwinLabs brand*
Does anyone see a problem with what I am taking?
To be honest, after some of the posts I have read I almost don't even want to try the stuff...
