Wow, you've got some issues my friend...

No, it's just simply girls are 'to mature' and it's annoying because you clearly don't see a lot of things through a guys perspective same as guys don't look through a girls perspective. So quit commenting on everything I say cause I think you're obsessed with me.

That's what happens when you start getting flawless skin.

Worst thing someone said to me was when I was in middle school, someone came up to me and said "if your face was connect four, I'd be a 10 time defending champ"

I just wrote about this in another post, but here it is again:

When I was at my college graduation, my best friend's mother said to me "You used to be so pretty, what happened? You're ugly now!" She never even congratulated me on graduating-- all she noticed was my skin.

That hurt more than anything. I immediately felt like crying, and as soon as I left the graduation reception, I did.

Similar thing happened to me.. I just finished my final recital and my uncle who hadn't seen me in years came to congratulate me but instead he came up and said "What happened to your face?? It's terrible!! You need to get some Proactiv." Worst of all, that was only at the start of my acne..

-Everything is good on her...but her face.

-Your skin has gotten a lot worse lately. What's going on?

-This will all go away before you know it.

-My mom staring at my skin in the car while I drive and saying, "It looks good today."

-I can't even imagine going through something like that.

-You've been through hell.

-Also from mom: "She's on a lot of medication right now for her skin, and she's getting laser done..." I just love everyone being reminded about it.

-The stares you get from people where you know they are examining your face, but you don't want to look them in the eyes to let them know that YOU know they are staring.

-Grandma:"Ohhh You look great! Look how gooood your skin looks!"

-Cousin: "Don't let your scars get you down. Look at this woman-she had scars and she's successful!" ....ya because you know what it's like to live with scars.

I recall a similar thing happening to me, along the lines of someone commenting on my previously better appearance. Some people are just short sighted, it's to their detriment though.

I honestly believe that to this day, acne has been the most profound experience of my life. The suffering I experienced, and the subsequent skills I developed as a result have made me so much better than I ever would have been without it.

Eventually, insults and ignorance such as most of what has been mentioned in here will fade.

guys, it's probably your shower that's causing your acne. let me guess. i bet you're taking hot showers all the time because it feels great?!!!

it does feel great. but it's i believe one of the major causes of acne. that's why your acne never goes away is because you keep doing the same things...hot water all the time.

try to take pure cold water. trust me. my acne is getting better. guys, it will lessen your acne in days.

and also, who cares what that guy said. so what if you're pizza face. everybody got issues. it just so happens our skin is our issue.

i highly disagree with this hot water causing acne stuff...cause i began doing that about a month now...i let hot water run on my face while in the shower...but then right after i run cold water on it close up the pores and never had any problem..so i disagree with that...for me atleast

i'm 19. a college student. practically no life. however, since i've started the cold water therapy, i think i can hit the parties once again.

i have scars too, but who cares? we care more about them that other people. beauty obsession is our problem which we need to solve.

holllla...

When I overheard my aunt telling my cousin how she thought no one would love me because of my skin. I should have blown it off, but it fueled my insecurities and I seriously questioned if anyone would ever love me for years.

My nieces always ask me "Why do you have so many boo-boos on your face?"

My family told me I look like some actress and my little niece agreed, but she said "She has smooth skin, not like you" and she made a disgusted face

I know kids tell the truth, so it hurtsssss. They stab me in the heart everytime they comment.

I had a huge cyst between my eyes a few weeks ago. Looked like a 3rd eye. My own mother asked what happened to my face. I told her it was my new friend, he goes everywhere with me. What did she think it was? really....my own mom?!?

it's a good thing for him he is 5

Dont be afraid to laugh, I did. If we cant laugh at ourselves, we shouldn't laugh at anyone else :)
