Hey Nina, oh I am a cookieholoc ( and junk food holic) too.
Maybe just designate 1 day per week you can eat what you want? Its not effect but better than binging or not having it ever.
Inositol and chromium are supposed to help with sugar cravings.

I totally cut out junk food for 2 years a few years ago but unfortunately I didn't know about glycemic index or food inflammation. Sometimes " healthy" stuff is still bad for acne. I'm still learning.

Oh my goodness, I've been there. My binging days were absolutely the worst time of my life, even though they had nothing to do with acne. That never-ending cycle of binging-guilt-restricting-feeling deprived-binging over and over drove me mad.
My advice is eat anything you want for now. Let your psyche rejoice in total freedom, push the "reset" button so to speak. After that you can start eliminating stuff again making sure you replace it with something else.Especially if you give up sugar!Make sure you eat at least 2 servings of sweet fruit every single day! More if you want to. I have zero sugar cravings if I eat 1 apple and 5 dates at breakfast and a banana and 5 more dates at second lunch (I eat 5 times a day). You're not going to stop wanting sweet foods all of a sudden, so make smart choices.
Replace dairy with leafy greens, since they are rich in calcium. I find I crave cheese less when I eat leefy greens.
You will never be able to sustain self-deprivation for long, so find a way to enjoy every single one of your meals.

Oh, I've also found that when I get a craving if I say to myself "I don't eat that" instead of "I shouldn't or I can't eat that" the craving diminishes. Weird but cool trick.
Another important thing is to never starve yourself. You should eat as soon as you're hungry or even before that. HUGE game-changer when it comes to sticking to a diet plan.

Good luck!

Great advice. I definitely did not stop craving sweets even though I gave them up and it made me really depressed. I remember crying over not eating birthday cake ...!
BTW I really want a piece if carrot cake lately. Lol
