Acne Affecting Speech

Just wondering if anybody else has had their speech affected by acne? For example, most of my acne is around my mouth, chin, jaw area - so it's incredibly painful to eat, smile, and talk. So I naturally avoid talking as much as possible because it hurts.

I've noticed that over the years I've been having trouble when speaking - such as stuttering and other things. I almost talk like a ventriliquist (keeping my mouth from moving at all)

I can see how that can happen, those ones that hurt when you talk/eat are the worst, constantly reminding you they're there. All I can say is keep trying things until you clear up but you already know that, good luck man.

Acne has never affected my speech per se. It has affected my speech more psychologically than physically. It brings my confidence to zero and then i mumble like a senile man.
