I feel like most of the people posting here are from the United States and nobody really seems to be from Canada. It's weird to hear all these posts about "going through the health insurance companies" ect. because I just can't identify with them as a Canadian (they pay money to see a derm?). Not to mention they have different treatments than us as well.

Nope, I'm, from America. And you're right, we have shitty to no health care here. I haven't been able to see a doctor (or a dentist) in over 7 years now. 
No money, no insurance. Most of my friends are in the exact same position.
You guys in the Uk/Canada...you don't know how lucky you are. One of my friends had to set his own broken bone because he couldn't afford medical care.
