Pros:

Smooth as silk
Gets rid of acne FAST!!!!!!!!!!
Glowing skin!!!!!!
It cleans my guinea pig's feet painlessly!

Cons:

Smells funny...
BURNS!!!!!!!!!!!

AWESOME!!!!! It worked like instantly! Even though i didnt have much acne, it work fantastic! I also added a little honey because it is also a natural, multi purpose acne medicine and i use both. I wish you could see my skin, it is literally glowing!!!!!!!! You can also add other stuff or use other stuff afterwards. I put on tea tree oil after. Try putting on lotion after and store it in a little container ( I used a bottlecap!) and apply with a popsicle stick. (unused. if you have a used one the high fructose sugar could break you out.)

Pros:

Great exfoliator.
I saw an immediate difference in my acne and acne scars.
Cheap.
Leaves skin feeling smooth and soft.

Cons:

Has an unusual consistency.
Burns, especially if you have any open cuts.

A great and cheap way of significantly improving acne. I discovered baking soda on this website and decided to give it a try due to all the positive reviews. I owe it the people who took the time to write how this product works. I can't be happier with how fast and efficiently baking soda has cleared up my acne.

Pros:

- works well on acne and acne scars
- gentle
- smoother skin
- helps put out the fires that I create on the stove trying to cook my instant noodles... =D

Cons:

-.....dries out skin(?)

Basically, this stuff works great. it's an absolutely fantastic exfoliator that's still really gentle on the skin =) it helped my body acne a whole lot as well as my facial acne. (scars too!) and it's really nice to rub your arm and be like..."woah...that's really soft o_O" Also, it's uber cheap, for the people like us who can't afford spend like 20$ on a cleanser >.>...yeap..

Pros:

makes the face seem really clean after using
softer skin
feels as if it is healing zits as soon as you put it on

Cons:

burns like HELL

I have very little acne, but just enough to bother me and make me feel less confident. i use this to get that clear airbrushed look on my face. i use the b. soda and leave it on for less than 5 min. was it off with hot hot hot water and a wash cloth. afterward i close my pores with lemon juice dabbed on with a paper towel. this seems to work good. i also use a few differnt other products, just a face wash i use every morning right when i get up and the at night before bed. i will also use toothpaste on a zit, just a little dab right before i go to bed and wash it off in the morning. this seems to be good!

Pros:

•Makes skin smooth
•Starts working immediately
•Cheap & easy to apply

Cons:

•Dries out skin

About a week ago, I had been over the top stressed. I started breaking out pretty bad and finally bought a box of baking soda. Ever since then, my skin has improved very much so! :D In the morning I wash my face with baking soda (with warm water to open the pores), and then I close my pores using lemon juice & a cottonball. If my skin is kind of dry, I put on a little moisturizer afterwards. Works like a charm! I recommend this to anyone who has pretty bad breakouts. I also use the baking soda on my body. Not really the lemon juice. Works just as well. Remember: you must be consistent! Good luck :)

Pros:

-closest to an acne cure that I have found
-cheap
-very effective
-amazing spot treatment

Cons:

-can be messy

I was using Dan's regimen for a few months; I used the cetaphil wash, bp, and AHA. However, I still broke out. Yes, my acne was better, but it was not GONE. This was the little miracle that got my skin to be ACNE-FREE. After I rinsed my face with the cetaphil wash, I put the mask on and left it on for about two minutes, four-five days a week. The first time I tried it, I had 3 huge zits; by the third day of using the mask, two were gone, and the third was just a tiny little pink bump. I have never, ever seen this kind of result before, not from any product or any prescription. I wish I could have discovered this sooner, and I beg whoever reads this to PLEASE, PLEASE just try it for a week. It works wonders! I have sensitive/acne-prone skin, and this completely changed my face!

Soft Skin

Reduced the redness in my face and brought infection in my acne to the surface. My skin is noticeably smoother and softer to the touch. I would definitely recommend!....but it DOES sting!

Pros:

My skin was noticably softer
It paled the acne
It cleaned out my pores
Most of the blackheads on my nose-they seem more brown than black- are gone
You only have to mix water and baking soda from your fridge

Cons:

It burned like h*** for a few minutes if you got it in any cuts or open scratchs or any openings in the skin
It flakes off after a few minute just by the turn of the head or ANY movement of the head
Doesn't have immediate results like promised

I would probably only recomend this to poeple with very light or light Acne or poeple with blackheads

Pros:

smooth skin
less redness
fewer pimples and blackheads

Cons:

can be messy
can sting if applied to open wounds
you CAN scrub too hard!

I have mild/moderate adult acne, as well as other complexion issues. This winter my skin started getting rough and dry patches, as well as many more pimples than before (before it was mainly blackheads) and it was very red in places as well. I started off with chemicals like proactive, and it was painful and made it worse. I moved on to organic stuff. the redness was better, but my face was still flaky. I heard about baking soda, and since I thought it would at least be a cheaper way to exfoliate since my organic frilly flax seed exfoliator was $16. I massaged a paste of baking soda with my finger tips. Immediatly, my skin was very soft and smooth. after just a few days it was much clearer. It has been a week and I don't think my skin has looked this good since before I became pregnant! (when my adult acne started.) I have been following my scrub with baking soda with 99% pure organic Aloe vera. This also has healing properties, and it moisturizes. Maybe it is the combo as well, I am not sure. I started the aloe earlier, and it became better when I switched to baking soda in combo. I am so happy! I can go places (comfortably) without make up now! *just to note, other people said it can sting, it has stung when I have open areas. Also, be careful to scrub gently!!!
