Pros:

-makes skin soft
-did not irritate skin
-very cheap
-noticed improvements with my acne

Cons:

tastes salty..

i have had bad acne on my chin and around my mouth for about a year now. i am now in 9th grade and people make fun of it and my self esteem has been destroyed. i looked on here at what has gotten good reviews and i saw this did. i went and made a paste and applied it. i left it on for about 1 minute then washed it off. this morning i noticed an improvement in the 2 biggest pimples. i applied it again but left it on for 10 minutes and then washed it off. i hope this works because i have tried so much like acnefree and mychelle products as well as neutrogena and proactiv. I cant say wether it works or not but so far it has given me hope. i suggest giving it a try.

Pros:

* leaves skin with a nice glow
* clears acnes, blackheads
* Easy to use

Cons:

* somewhat messy
* can be drying

LOVE IT! found solutions to the cons.First keep a small container with baking soda in bathroom, wet face first with warm water, dip fingers in baking soda, clean entire face. To help with the drying effects of baking soda I use pure honey (Make sure it's pure and doesn"t have corn syrup added) as an after wash. Just put a quarter size amount in your hand, rub al over face, let sit a minute or two and rinse off. I follow up with cold water rinse to close pours. Makes Skins glow, even has deminished lines, scars and wrinkles!

Pros:

- Very inexpensive
- Reduces swelling and redness of pimples overnight
- Makes my skin kind of look like it's glowing

Cons:

- It's messy. Don't forget to rinse out the bowl you mixed it in, because it's hard to scrape out when it dries. The first time I applied the mixture when it was still runny, and it got stuck in my hair.

- It burned some, but most face washes have that effect on me. What I really didn't like was how my face felt afterward- sort of tight and stiff. I didn't have any moisturizer so I used some sunscreen to soothe it. It worked so that's what I have continued to do.

I was skeptical, but after all these reviews I thought I'd give it a try. It's crazy how fast this seems to work! I'd never believe it if I hadn't seen it for myself. Most washes (Clearasil, Neutrogena, Proactive..) leave my face irritated with little effect on the acne. The first time I tried baking soda, I only used it on part of my face. I could not believe the difference the next day. To all of you who are skeptical about trying this, I say you should give it a chance!

Pros:

- Face felt smoother, even after FIRST use
- Starts working immediately
- Gave face a brighter glow
- Red/brown spots/temporary scars have faded considerably after ONE week!
- Dried up new pimples fast
- Skin is less oily

Cons:

- You have to be VERY careful to not be too rough
- Can be a tad messy (Because it doesn't come in a tube, you can't keep it in the shower, or get the box wet. And you need to keep a small bowl in your bathroom to make the mixture)

I just started this one week ago, and I cannot believe the difference! My acne is light (I mostly have little bumps on my forehead, and chin. And randomly get big painful pimples on my cheeks) I just had a flare up, and had one big zit, and two red spots from pimples the week before. I VERY gently scrub in circles for about a minute, rise off, then swipe Apple Cider Vinegar over my face and rinse it off with cold water. At night, I wash my face with a facial cleanser, dab baking soda paste on my blemishes, wait a minute, rise off with cold water, then go to bed. After one week, my red spots have faded dramatically, and my pimple dried up in two days, and it's on it's way to recovery! TRY IT!

Pros:

* Exfoliates
* Softens skin and evens texture
* Seemed to help with my skin tone
* Helps to treat blackheads
* Cheap

Cons:

* A bit messy
* Dries my skin out if I use it for a few consecutive days or more
* May make sensitive skin break out mildly.

I find that this is extremely efficient at clearing my blackheads on my nose. I see results every time I use it. I think it might be just my sensitive skin, but after a few uses, I started getting pimples on my nose where I was applying the baking soda. I kept going however, as I figured that would be a temporary tradeoff for clearing my skin. When I stopped, however, my blackheads started coming back. So, for me at least, this works, but only with continued use.

Broke me out horribly --- way too over-irritating. Please don't use this.

Pros:

- clears up those huge white heads that hurt to touch.
-makes skin smoother
-gets rid of blackheads on nose
-good scrub
-can be used as an everyday cleanser
-cheap, i got for free from my mom! ahah

Cons:

-left acne scars
-really drying

I recommend it to people who have oily skin. If you have dry skin, I only recommend you use this once every two days.

Pros:

makes skin smoother.
brings pimples out.
seemed to fade scars.

Cons:

drying.

I used this for the first time last night. I rubbed it in for maybe a minute or less then let it sit and put extra on my pimples the washed it off after 2 minutes. I use evoo as a moisturizer day and night and i massage it in for a minute or so. Then i use vit. e as a spot treatment for my scars all of this together lightened my scars after one use. I wouldn't reccommened doing this everyday. But it works great.
