Made my skin worse!
Do not use this! When I first started to develop acne, I used the products that I found in retail stores (Neutrogena, ect). When that didn't work, I used Proactiv and it worked for a little while, but then it just stopped clearing up my skin. After Proactiv, I got the Murad Acne Complex, and this has made my skin so awful. I am having breakouts where I never had them before. My pimples are redder and bigger than they've ever been, and my skin hasn't been clear since the moment I started using it. It's a waste of time and money and now my skin is so bad that I have to go to a dermatologist!

Pros:
Doesn't stain clothing like benzoyl peroxide.
Cons:
Is not strong enough for me
You can get stronger products in the store. Neutrogena makes products with salicylic acid. They make a gel that's 1% stronger then murads. Also neutrogena makes cleanser that's 0.5% stronger then murads. Cheaper then murad with no shipping and handling. If this doesn't work go to a dermatologist.

The horrible egg smell ... I do not recommend ANYTHING from Proactiv.

I bought this product and was so excited at 1st. Within the 1st 4 days my skin was so dry that it hurt! It was peeling off and I couldn't go out... And with the dryness I had to put lotion on to ease the pain witch only caused more acne -___-
Don't buy this is litterly ruins your face... I was like you once... Hesitating on whether I should buy this or not. But let me tell you not to. I don't know why other people are saying it worked but for me my skin is so dry and red.

DONT GET IT! i wish i would have read the reviews. i spent so much money on it. it may work for some, but only 28% that reviewed said it worked. My face got greasy and the purging never went away. I literally just had a meltdown because my acne had never been this bad and i am packing everything up and trying to get my money back right now. it made my face feel like i was sweating for hours and never washed my face. My acne was doing pretty good but i just wanted to clear it up so i decided to stop my prescription because i heard benzyl peroxide is damaging to the skin. But this is just horrific. PLease try something else and use this product as a last resort. Things at walmart work better than this.

If you have gotten clear with BP and want to try a BP free solution, please don't use this!
After a rough spring with my skin I used Acne Free Severe kit for 3 months and was clear about 6 weeks into it (I have used BP on and off for 15 years with usual success).
I was pretty clear but it was enhancing the fine lines on my 32 y.o. skin, so I thought I would give Murad complex a try for a long term maintenance solution, you know...no more stained clothes, Dermatologist created, high-end premium skincare products etc....
WAAAAAAAH!!!! What a mistake.
Caused over 70 hard whiteheads (that have since erupted into full blown papules, pustules, nodules, and cysts) along my jaw line, just using it for 3.5 weeks.
When I talked to their customer service to return it they questioned why I wasn't sticking with it for the full 4 weeks because she guaranteed if I kept using it I would be clear if I did...yeah ok in 4 days your product is going to clear 70 hard whiteheads and 10-15 full eruptions!!!
I currently have over 15 active eruptions on each side of my jaw now, so alas....
Back to BP but the damage was done it's been over 5 weeks and my skin is still fighting to bounce back from the worst breakout I have had in years.
Try to go BP free if you want but don't do it with Murad; PLEASE!

Pros:
skin peels, so it get rid of acne scarring
Cons:
drying, however it doesn't pull, so it doesn't feel like its cry but it does flake off.
it works better than anything iv ever tried before, and iv done everything, including accutane.Nothing works faster and better than this stuff. Butt.... you gotta order it online because they don't sell it anywhere.

My friend gave me her bottle of this product because for her it made her skin redicously clear. I wanted to try it to , so for a 2 days, I put it on overnight as a spot treament on one of my largest pimples. ( I just wanted to try it to see if it worked ) For me, it didnt work at ALL. it just left my pimple a tad bit redder. Bottom line is, It will work for some, and stink for others.

its a great daily facial wash ..thats it,, not for acne
it never dried my skin or makde it oily
Cons:
its costs alot and if you dont cancel your memberhsip they will keep sending you the whole kit every month!
MURAD made me break out more, i know how everyone says you break out when you first start using a product, its part of the healing process, but i have been using it religiously for 3 months and my face actually got worse. If you dont have acne, then i recommend it for a gently daily use facial wash. It smells great.

I love the mask that comes with the kit.
