Pregnancy
Human and animal studies have not been conducted with topical sulfur.
However, sulfur is considered possibly safe when applied to the skin in low doses for only a few days.
Thus, if you are pregnant or may become pregnant, consult your doctor before using topical sulfur.
Breastfeeding
The excretion of topically applied sulfur into human milk is unknown.
Do not apply sulfur to the nipple area and make sure the infant’s skin does not come into contact with the areas of skin that have been treated with sulfur.
If you are breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed, speak with your physician before you start using topical sulfur.
