MY FACE BURNED FOR 3 OR 4 HOURS AFTER LASER. RED HICKY LOOKING MARKS ON MY SKIN. WAY MORE PIMPLES FORMED WITHIN 2 DAYS!
i HOPE THESE MARKS FADE AWAY BECAUSE EVEN COVER UP WILL NOT HIDE THEM AND THEY SEEM TO BE GATTING DARKER. PLEASE DO ALOT OF RESEARCH BEFORE DOING THIS. I WISH I COULD HAVE MY SKIN BACK BEFORE DOING THIS :(

Pros:
After my first treatment, I was eh about it. Then I started paying attention to the most oily spot of my face which is my forehead and SB reduced it a lot! My scarring is fading a little bit too. I have not broken out yet and I am do for my period
Cons:
I would have to say is I wish it was guaranteed no acne ever again...I was guaranteed 75 to 95% results...I would say I have 50% better results
If you have real bad acne I would recommend you try it out and it may be the solution for you. It looks like its going to be my solution for the rest of my life

did nothing to improve acne, incredibly expensive
Absolute waste of money. Please, please do not get sucked in by the advertising- its a lot of money for a treatment which genuinely seems ( read forums like this and you will immediately see a greater amount of negative response) to have little effect on acne. At least with accutane, which is by no means an ideal or risk free solution, it is more frequently effective.

its doesnt clear acne forever. you need follow up sessions
I had spots since i was about 14 and nothing i used got rid of them. i have tried lotions, potions, tablets. everything!
then in 2006 i had enough. i was working as a air hostess and i was feeling very self consious about my skin so i decided to do something about it. i heard of n-lite and decided to give it a go.
the results were amazing. for the first time ever after 3 sessions i would go out without make-up on, something i had never done before.
the downside is the expense, and it doesnt last for ever. 2 years later i am going back again. in these 2 years i used proactiv which worked so well but unfortuantly brought me up in a rash on my face so i stopped using that and now have awful spots again so im going back to n-lite!
i would recomend it to everyone as it does work.

Caused triple size area of redness, hyperpigmentation and itchy flaky spots.
I am 5 weeks post laser resurfacing of 3 brown spots on my face. It looks so much worse, much bigger and because the laser went too deep, it will leave scars and i dont know if it will ever be gone. I am very upset and depressed and before, with a little concealer and foundation, no one even knew i had brown spots. Now, no matter how i try to cover it(the surface is uneven and flaky) it looks really bad so that i just cover it with bandaids to go out. I have tried aloe, vit E, mederma, 2% hydroquine creams, calendula, moisterizer, vaseline, on the spot and it doesnt change.

i had my first set of 2 nite session about 5 months ago and now my skin is clear of spots but i have alot of scarring left. ive just had another n lite 3 days ago. apparently after each treatment it takes about 3 months to notice a different so if you have 3 treatments it will take 9 months in total to see an improvement. also my treatments are always about 45 minutes long....3-5 mins seems to less. i have a glycolic peel too which is included in the price and the laser takes about 15 minutes. im going to wait about a month and see if theres a difference and then i will book in for another one!

Pros:
After fourth treatment it cleared my acne totally. My skin was also smoother.
Cons:
Acne came back after about a month of ending treatment.
The result doesn't last for long. If you decide to have follow up treatments you can probably maintain the result. I ended up going on accutane which work miracolously, however soon after going off I became pregnant and got a terrible acne outbreak. I would consider accutane in the future maybe after breastfeeding. I'm thinking of getting the smoothbeam done during pregancy, since this is the only safe and short term effective thing that worked. I'm only dediciding to do it because I don't have many options right now and my skin is really bad.

Pros:
It really was the only thing that worked for me, without too much of a side affect.
Cons:
It's a little bit costly, but well worth it
I had 3 treatments of N-lite and not only did my acne clear up but my skin looked glowing, the best it's ever looked ;)

Pros:
there were no pros!
Cons:
at the time my acne was not bad, once i had the procedure it made it much worse and caused me to break out severely with cystic acne (which i haven't had since junior high) it caused alot of emotional stress and I ended up having to go on accutane..
it was the worst thing i could have possibly done for my face- thanks to my dermatologist making this recommendation i have had the worst 3 months of my life- with terrible breakouts- nothing positive from this procedure- please do your research before you sign up- a total waste of my money and has caused much damage!
Pros:
you may need more treatments than they recommend!! i had about 7, i have cystic acne that leaves scars, tried everything, if you can afford it hang in there because i was cystic acne free for over a yr, but was told i may need touch up treatment
