Cons:
Had a few break outs after the peel. Payed about 180.00.Pricey 4 me. Oily skin and bumps came back and face looked terrible again
Overall I liked the after results, but I was hoping it would reduce pore size but it just lightened the dark spots on my face. For me it lasted for about 2mths, then after that I felt like Cinderella...:(
But the great thing I've discovered regarding my acne breakouts was that my hormones was out of wack and found a great herbal product that was such a blessing 4 me gosh wish i could show a before and after pic. Well ill be planning for a 2nd peel soon..Much Healing and Blessings to all that read this

I got Glycolic peels done. They recommended me 4 sittings initially. But eventually they suggested me more sittings intervaled at 15 days - 30 days per sitting. I had around 10-12 peeling sessions. The positive change was visible on my face. It has been 2 years now when I had the treatment. Pimples do come now, but the frequency and number has reduced.
During the treatment, my skin was more sensitive to sun.

Pros:
I am hoping for clear even skin for my wedding next month
Cons:
Fear of skin getting worse
After reading the testimonials.....I AM SCARED!!! I have about 6 weeks until my wedding and I cannot afford to look terrible on the biggest day of my life. I will keep you posted on my progress. Pray for me!!

Pros:
Got rid of a huge ugly pimple within a couple of days!
Cons:
Peeling, fever blisters
This is the second time I've gotten a chemical peel and it wasn't bad at all. My face was red for about 30 minutes after the treatment. I did get a fever blister (which was previously explained to me; if you are prone to getting fever blisters when you have a cold you are likely to get them after this process). The best part about this treatment was that it got rid of this huge pimple on my chin within a couple of days! I loved it. It also made the texture of my skin smoother.

Pros:
brings up exsisting bumps and then dries them
Cons:
Makes skin feel tight and stings
find a place that does not charge too much and see how you like it. If you like it keep doing it and maybe then go to a more expensive place.

Pros:
softer and more youthful looking skin
helps with acne
Cons:
Slight burning (depending on strength, frequency, and duration)
Redness, dryness, and flaky skin
does not help with scarring and does not do much except overall just be a general exfoliation but this stuff is great though sorry it wont take off scars!

Pros:
Got rid of brand new redmarks like a day or two old.
Cons:
didnt really do much for old red marks :(
made acne a little worse beacause al the exfoliation at once and u can't put any acne products on ur face for a week after u use it
toooo much downtime
i think lactic acid over a period of a couple months is much better than the tca peel...i did a 12.5%. It did almost nothing for me, but make my acne a bit worse and got rid of my brand new red marks.

Pros:
It worked after two treatments and my face cleared up.
Cons:
Expensive and need it every month. It buns when applied and with the peel I had my face was yellow for a couple of hours (but I knew this so didn't plan on doing anything).
My acne could not be controlled by any product from a store/online (Pro-Activ, Acne Free, Clearasil, Daniel Kern, Murad, etc) or from a dermatologist (Differin, cremes, antibiotics, etc). I was very cautious to try this because of the expense and no guarantee, but I went for it and after two treatments I had already seen much improvement. I just had my third treatment a week ago and my face is a lot clearer than it has been since I've had acne.

I'm african american, I went to medical spa and had two chemical peels. along with the peels I used a AHA cleanser, hydroquinone and retin-A prescribed by my doctor. altogether these products worked great in 2months my skin was almost clear. then i stopped using them because of the high price 90 for the peel, 120 for thr retin-A, 50 for the cleanser and 40 for the hydroquinone. i wish i had the money to continue because now my skin is worse then before i started.
Pros:
Skin was brighter, reduced cystic pimples, eliminated oil on my face, and lighten scars
