Pros:

+Less oily skin
+Brighter eyes.
+Acne and scars heal quickly.

Cons:

-Dry, sensitive hair.
-Sensitive skin.
-No significant change in acne.

I've been taking zinc 50mg for a while now, 4-5 times a week. I've noticed my eyes has a nice gleam now and my skin is less oily. However, my hair is drier and cannot be washed every day or else it will get frizzy throughout the day. I have not noticed a great change in my acne.

Pros:

I'm 25 and I've had bad skin since I was 16. I'd long given up trying to cure the problem, but I started taking multivitamins (A to Zinc) and noticed a HUGE improvement in my skin. Its never been so clear.

Cons:

Skin is a little dry

I started with multivitamins and realised it must have been the zinc content (as little as 5mg) that was doing the trick. I've recently complemented them with 15mg zinc tablets. I think those who are taking 25+ - esp. like 100mg - are taking too much.

i haven't notice any difference in taking it

i guess i feel neutral about this product, since it seems to have nothing good or bad. i still take it though, since i still have some left. i guess its worth a try like anything else.

Pros:

Can be a "cure" if you've got the defficiency.

Cons:

Doesnt always work and the supplements can contain ingredients such as iodine.

Worth a try, I think its helped a little with me. Could be very useful.

Pros:

works for controlling oily skin in which is the cultprit for acne! Crush 1 & let it dry on your face then leave it on for 30 min. Controlls oily skin. Leavs it soft. Of course you have to add moisturizers. Use Acne Free Sever kit fr walmart. wrk 4 me

Cons:

make sure you eat a good meal before taking the suppliment and make sure you take copper with it as well. They coincide together! Do your research!

I've had a sudden break out! I mean the whole hard core cystic acne and I'm 32! Definately not acne! Crazy! I had this dream about why I had cystic acne. And guess what the dream told me. Food Allergies! Yup. If your acne is not clearing although you wash the heck out of your face and keep it clean no matter what! Well people their is definately an internal problem. Of course my dream told me that I was allergic to a specific type of food, but when I woke up I was like what the heck was it. Well I went through the elimination process of finding out what food I may be allergic to and guess what. I love pasta! I had to be gluten free! or should not eat anything to do with baked goods. So! I also realized that zinc, copper, vitamin b5, acidipholus (prevention from over growth of yeast in body-guess what the culprit for yeast is---PASTA!). My face was hurtin bad and the huge bumps on my face were turning into sores and bursting-DISGUSTING! My face is feeling better now.

Pros:

very affordable and the tablets are really small

Cons:

i get side affects from taking Zinc, our bodies react different than others, and it seems my body doesnt like the Zinc because it makes me feel really tired, exhausted and unable to focus

ive been using it for 2 days now, i thinks its still too early to se a difference and hopefully my body gets adapted to it, ill keep everyone posted. I Also bought the Zinc topical i read reviews on that one being very effective.

Pros:

IT DOES HELP WITH ACNE

Cons:

IT MAKES ME EXTREMELY NAUSEOUS EVERY TIME I USE IT. I HAVE TAKEN IT ON A FULL STOMACH AFTER DINNER AND I FEEL AS IF I AM GOING TO THROW UP. IT DID WORK FOR ME BUT I AM NOT GOING TO USE IT BECAUSE IT MAKES ME FEEL VERY SICK.

ITS GOOD, BUT NOT FOR ME.

Pros:

the pills are easy to crush for applying to your face, it doesn't smell bad at all and it reduces redness and smooths your skin.

Cons:

can burn/itch a little when it's on

i have really red/dry skin, and i crush about 4 pills and mix with water and let it sit on my skin until it dries. then, i rinse it off and apply vitamin E squeezed from two pills. tonight is the first night i have taken a pill orally as well, so we'll see how that goes, but i already take a multi-vitamin that has zinc anyway. BE CAREFUL not to overdose on zinc! i've only been using it for a few days and my skin is already looking nicer. i'm not sure if it is the zinc or the combination of zinc and vitamin E, but i recommend both if you have very dry skin.
