Pros:

It visibly smooths out your skin tone and really makes your overall complexion look healthy and radiant. I have noticed right away that it really works a lot different and better than harsher face washes I've used before.

Cons:

When I first opened the bottle (The Dickinson's Witch Hazel) I almost threw up. I had to try not to gag when I applied it, and resorted to putting it on with vicks vapor rub under my nose at first. Its not bad after you've used it a few times.

I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to look fresh and had combo or oily skin. If you can deal with getting used to the scent, go for it!

Pros:

nice n gentle. natural. Ph balancing. not irritating.

Cons:

its not really that dramatic.

dont get the kind with alhohol. Its nice, but its not as dramatic as everyone else on the post is saying. ive used it of and on over the years, and been using it as a toner between gentle cleanser and moisturizer, and its not adding or detracting. it will keep your face pure n simple, but its not going to "cure" acne. its supposed to reduce redness...but i dont see any change really.

Pros:

It's not as harsh as other astringents I've used. It clears my acne without drying my skin out.

Cons:

The smell is not pleasent at all. Because of the results I can definately get past this.

It's inexpensive and it really works. Also it's non-irritating.

Pros:

Makes skin tight without drying it out, smoothes rough skin, removes excess dirt, controls oil.

Cons:

The smell is a little funky at first, but I have been using the product for about a month now and I don't even notice it anymore.

I went through a bad patch and had severe acne for awhile most likely brought on by stress. I took stuff that my dermotologist gave me including a face wash that did work, but completely stripped my face and ruined the balance. I then battled with oily skin. I switched make up that helped tame the oil for a little while. Then I came upon Dickenson's Witch Hazel Toner. This stuff is gold in a bottle for your face. It completely restored my skin's balance in under 2 weeks. Since using this product in combination with Cetaphil face wash for normal to oily skin and switching to Everday Minerals makeup I have not had one breakout. My skin has been clear for over a month now and still looks GREAT! If you're fighting with oily or combination skin I highly reccomend this product. PS:Stay away from harsh cleansers. They will only work temporarily. They'll strip your skin of oils and ruin it's balance causing more acne. ;) good luck!

Pros:

It is a great face cleaner, unclogs pores and takes off even stubborn eye makeup.

Cons:

The smell really IS that bad, it almost makes me gag. Also, it did nothing for the pimple I had. A tad drying.

It was super cheap, so I'll use it once in a while for a good clean. Still prefer oil cleansing.

Pros:

It makes a good astringent and toner. A completely natural remedy. You notice results almost immediately after you use the product.

Cons:

Causes temporary redness and irritation that can make application uncomfortable. Works well sometimes and doesn't others. It takes a pretty large quantity to treat the entire face.

Despite the few cons that there are, Witch Hazel is a great product. I can't stand to dump chemicals on my sensitive skin, so I love that witch hazel is natural and not medicated. Although it may sound strange, I really love the smell of this stuff; it's fresh and earthy. The product works very quickly, and I am over all happy with it. I would definitely suggest that everyone at least tries it!
