Pros:

it seemed to work for a while when i was using it with baking soda

Cons:

gave me a load of tiny pimples, which piss me off the most, then didn't do anything to clear them

i used it for a week, then stopped not only because i wasn't seeing much improvement but also because i realized it's too harsh and the smell was just too much to handle for everyone in my house. i was using it with baking soda, which gave me a sore, so now i have about 3 large scabs on my face from baking soda, a bunch of little bumps, and some red marks from my impatience. i should have never started this to begin with, it's regrettable. originally i was using emu oil with vitamin e and rubbing it into my skin which kept my skin VERY even however didn't get rid of bumps. i guess everything has its pros and cons.. now i'm in desperate need of a facial and an AHA peel to get rid of all my stupidity. it's not worth trying it, it may be a miracle for some. but it's much too strong anyways, and once it ruins your light to moderate acne and makes it moderate to severe, youll regret it. i promise.

Pros:

My skin was not as oily, got rid of some acne

Cons:

Made my skin rough, made me breakout, and made my skin super dry.

When I first started using this it was right after a big breakout, which I attribute to using baking soda. I have been trying many home remedies because I do not want to spend $, and now have moved onto ACV. At first, the pimples I had began to disappear just like they did when I was on baking soda. My skin became way less oily, and I could touch my face and not have a greasy shine on my hands. Then after a week my face became very rough and dry. I noticed bumps were starting to pop up all over my forehead. every time I got out of the shower It looked like I had eczema all over my face, but I kept on using it. Now I am really beginning to break out at the two week point. I am still going to use it because i have heard you initially breakout and then it is okay. I put it on every night for 10 minutes and then wash off. It is a 50% water and 50% ACv.

Pros:

cleared up some

Cons:

brought unwelcoming cysts

Diluted it and put it on my face. I also made a drink with it and drank it 3 times a day. My jawline acne cleared up, but then new cysts started to form on my forehead. Try it. It might work. It might not. I think most of these reviews on this site are fake anyways.

On the process...
I started using White Vinegar (because it's the only available to our house) last Monday as my final battle to acne. I've been an acne warrior since I was 13 and until now that I am 21 years old, I still has them. my case is different because instead of the common red bumpy, with a liquidy content pimple, I have a white, grain-like whiteheads that always bugs me to be pick up causing my face to scar. I've tried many products from the expensive to the cheap one but still no effect. My friend, suggested that I should try the natural approach and that's the time that I explore the wonders of vinegar. During 6 days of using, regular pimples (red one) appear. It made me nervous that the vinegar treatment is a hoax but my friend says that it's just the start. That the vinegar actually clean the innermost part of my skin until it runs out of dirt. So even though I have a really bad skin as of now, I still try using this. I'll just update you guys on my progress.

Hi how was your face now?
May 25, 2011

Pros:

-inexpensive

Cons:

-stinks
-can sting a little

I started having some break outs on my chest. They were very small, tiny white little bumps. I'd read on here that ACV worked great on body acne, so I gave it a try. However, after a week of applying ACV straight from the bottle to my chest twice a day, I started breaking out like crazy. I have pretty fair, thin, sensitive skin and I'm guessing the acidity of the ACV irritated it.. Either way, I'm not putting that stuff on my chest again! Works great on my face though

Didn't like it.
It didn't make any difference for me in the oiliness of my skin, the appearance of my marks or the state of my current acne. If anything, my t-zone seemed more shiny & sticky after applying this. I also just didn't like the feeling of it - it didn't give my skin that "light, fresh and clean" feel that toners usually do. It felt more heavy, like putting another layer of something onto my skin.

Works sometimes but be VERY careful!
I tried this on my nose, it works but be very careful not to do overdo it as I did. It caused the spot to go but the skin never healed afterwards. I have now had a spot on my nose that hasn't properly healed for nearly a year. I have been to a dermatologist and was going to have it cut out in case it was cancerous. This has now been postponed as it seems to finally be healing. If you have spots avoid using a 1:1, 2:1 or even a 3:1 or 4:1 ratio of water to vinegar as you may end up scaring yourself permanently or worse, creating cancerous cells in your skin. In my opinion a few spots or blemishes are nothing when you open up the possibility of a skin graft on your face, I kid you not. Eat well, cut out all processed food, exercise and don't smoke or drink excessively, putting vinegar on your face is not the answer, or anywhere else on your skin for that matter. What's worse, skin cancer or acne? You decide.

Does it work..?
I'm a teen and these past years I've been having breakouts. It was totally fine before but it suddenly happened. And I think I have sensitive skin. I've been seeking help and have tried different products and home remedies. I even tried to take zinc supplements cause I heard it might help. But my skin just keeps getting worse so I went to consult a doctor and was prescribed a couple of natural products as well as skin peeling sessions. After that, some of the previous scars are gone but now acne only appears on my cheeks and they won't go away,I think they've been there for months. It's always the same old spots, sometimes they seem to be healing and then it suddenly becomes redder again and forms a head. And then sometimes a new one pops out. I don't know what causes this,I don't let anything get close to my face at all,I wash my face everyday and I don't smoke. I don't know what else to do so I researched and heard about vinegar so I mixed White rice vinegar with water cause I only have that at home. It's been 3 days since I'm using it and so far I still don't see improvement only that my face seems to look a bit..whiter? I'm just using that,a facial cleanser and moisturizer for now. How long should I continue using the vinegar?
