Pros:

Everything. I've tried everything (IPL treatments, PDT, Micro Derm, Proactiv, Aloette, Alyria, Diane 35, everything except acutane) the only thing that has worked for me is ACV and 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide. Try it!

Cons:

The smell, but it fades really quickly.

Try it!! It's the only product I keep coming back to.

Pros:

wonderful

Cons:

stinky, like everyone else says, but the smell completely evaporates in about 2 minutes

I love this because it's the best thing I've tried and yet the very cheapest (and I've tried Proactive, too). If this was in a bottle and marketable as an acne product, you could easily sell it for $30 a bottle; I'd buy it at least. There are some things you can do to minimize the smell like adding essential oils to it. I have been using coconut oil to take my makeup off (rub coconut oil on the face to dissolve makeup and then wipe clean with a wet rag), and then I soak a cottonball in the diluted ACV (about 2 parts water, 1 part vinegar) and that takes off every trace amount of anything while making my skin look wonderful afterwords. Literally I saw the improvement in my skin the very first time I put it on. And my skin no longer has those pesky dry patches, as this has restored my natural PH balance. At first it might make your skin a little red for the first couple of minutes, but once your skin adjusts to it, it no longer does it. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone!!!

Pros:

seems to be working, when applied as a toner it appears to lighten the redness

Cons:

the smell?

i started drinking braggs apple cider vinegar about ten days ago and noticed that the "barely there" acne was going away and had no new break outs. i was a little skeptical about using the acv as a toner but decided it was worth a try. i have been using it as a toner mixing acv with water in equal parts. again, i have no knew break outs which is a really good sign but i cannot for the live of me get rid of this really difficult pimple. hopefully the acv is just preventing it from getting worse but it does seem to take the redness out of it. even though its been about a week and a half of using this product i am happy with the results.

Pros:

Balances skin oiliness and pH, heals cystic acne.

Cons:

Strong smell, if not diluted

I mix 8 parts non-tap water to 1 part vinegar in an atomizer (fine mist spray bottle). It is a staple in my regimen since I've always believed in toners.

Pros:

Soft skin

Cons:

burns.
smells disgusting.
it made my blemishes look even more red!!

Ok i've tried everything from proactiv to just plain water. nothing seems to work. i read about using ACV and i've been using it for about 2 days now. my pimples appear to be even more red but my skin feels soft. i didn't use organic ACV. is that why?

Pros:

Nothing.

Cons:

Brings old acne back and starts up new spots.

Bottom line is not all treatments will work for you. This treatment may be good for some but this treatment only made my acne worse. I gave it 2 weeks, found the dilusion that was most agreeable with my skin, but really I am so mad that it brought back spots that were in my mind no longer trouble spots that I can not begin to tell ya- so I won't. This treatment is terrible... for my skin type.

Pros:

exfoliates the skin, fade red marks, soften the skin

Cons:

smell really bad; never use it neat

i am using ACV in a ratio with water of 1:1, it works to exfoliate the skin, however there're still some breakouts... red marks seem fading, i will wait and see.. NEVER USE IT NEAT, i have tried once and did burn my skin and stinging

Pros:

totally dried out pimples and left my skin less blotchy. all discoloration looked much better!!!

Cons:

smells, can sting (but who cares) and makes your nose a tiny bit oily, but you can rinse that off.

i dont dilute it at all. i use straight balsamic vinegar, not apple cider vinegar because we don't use that in the house too much. i leave it on for around 4-6 minutes to dry up a bit (yes your face will look brown) and then i rinse it off with warm to hot water. definitely works!!! warning: stings!!! don't get any vinegar in your eyes or mouth...tatses gross and can burn your eyes.

Pros:

Prevented acne completely. It is the only thing that has ever made pimples actually stop "growing" and disappear.

Cons:

the smell...you can't really notice it once it dries, but people have been able to smell it on me once they got close...like REALLY close. It also burns a little when you put it on your skin...make sure to dilute it...trust me I learned the hard way

works great, the smell is really not that bad

Pros:

Swelling and redness decreased.
Didn't get rid of the pimples, but this was only after one use.

Cons:

The initial smell is revolting, but you get used to it after 5 minutes.

I needed a quick fix. I was having a great hair day and needed a great looking face to go with it! The problem was that I had run out of my face wash and BP a week ago and didn't have enough money to buy more for another 4 days. The result was a horrible break out that just kept getting worse! I haven't had whiteheads for months, but now there were 3-4 on each cheek! It was a disaster and leaving the house looking so awful was just painful and I really didn't want anyone to look at me... After my shower, I dipped cotton balls in apple cider vinegar and applied it to my problem areas. At first, I couldn't handle the smell! But it went away with time. Also, they got worse looking. After an hour, though, the horrible redness was almost completely gone and my pimples weren't as big as they were before! And my whiteheads were gone! They weren't the quick fix I was looking for, but they definately worked! I'm going to use this vinegar more often and see where it gets me!
