Pros:

ACV is natural and has so many other health benefits

Cons:

addiction to the stuff! (cause it works so well)

Unlike evil alternatives like Accutane (rather put up with pimples)ACV is natural, safe and works! Plus, the added health benefits are awesome. I also suffer from bad circulation and stomach upsets which ACV seems to also be sorting out. So, i recommend you have nothing to lose trying Apple Vinegar and everything to gain. I now have my sister and best friend hooked after seeing how my crappy skin has improved in such a short time

Pros:

everything

Cons:

my boyfriend hates the smell

Works great - exfoliates, desinfects, restores proper PH for acne skin (it should be slightly lower in order for skin's ability to exfoliate itself). I saturate a cotton ball with it, put some water on it and rub my face. When my acne was worse, I didn't even dilute - just used full strength. It burned but was tolerable. Not for maintanance I use it slightly diluted.

Pros:

Smooth, clear skin and CHEAP!

Cons:

Smell

I read about applying acv as a toner for black&white heads and acv also helps to reduce the redness & scars, so I tried it and loving it. although smell is horrible but it dissapears in less than 10 min. and it really helped my scars faded. I bought acv from trader's joe and it was less than 3 dollars, what's not to try? :D

Pros:

Over time it makes redness go away

Cons:

Can sting, makes the area red (for me, atleast) when you put it on.

My skin hates me from all the stuff I do to it.. 2 creams, 3 scrubs, microdermabrator, moisturizers.. blah, none of it works anymore. I tried vinegar last night.. I woke up and my newest breakout is certainly lighter, a hurting pimple (one that isn't too visible but hurts when you touch it) went down considerably. I'll try this for a bit.

Pros:

It's getting rid of my acne; moderate to severe. I have no more cystic ones on my jawline and almost none (one on my forehead) and temples anymore. Next step is to remove the scars.

Cons:

Smell, my friend nearly threw up when we shared a hotel room but it goes away after 10-15 minutes.

I use 3 parts ACV (bought a big bottle of Braggs from Wholefoods) with 2 parts reverse osmosis or DI water which I also fill at Wholefoods for 39 cents a gallon or any [link removed] vending machine for 30 cents. I also drink 2 tbs. w/ 8oz. water twice a day. I brush my teeth with Sensodyne ProEnamel toothpaste. Wash w/ Purpose bar soap Apply Dickinson's witch hazel toner Apply Braggs ACV generously Once dries, apply Fruit of the Earth aloe vera Apply Oil of Olay Age Defying daily renewal cream (no moisturizer at night) In response to Madison, stick w/ it. I've used EVERYTHING except for Accutane and I'm happy with the results. Used for 6 weeks and looking forward to my skin to get even better.

Pros:

Excellent toner
Brightens skin - clears away dead flaky skin

Cons:

Must be diluted so there is no smell

you must DILUTE it for great results without the smell or harshness. I spritz mine onto my face in a bottle diluted at about 1/4 apple cider vinegar to 3/4 purified water. great topical treatment but only use organic braggs. the distilled stuff in the store will do nothing for you

Pros:

Reduces red marks and scars from acne, cheap and works better than commercial products

Cons:

smells bad

I apply 50% diluted (2 parts water to 1 part ACV) Bragg ACV as a toner to my face 10 min after washing with a mixture of baking soda and Cetaphil cleaner. The baking soda acts as an exfoliator and the Cetaphil moisturizes the skin and keeps the baking soda from burning too much.I have mild to moderate acne, usually on my chin and behind my ears. My acne has cleared up tremendously after 3 days using ACV and baking soda. My scars are greatly reduced and some have even disappeared only after 3 days use. I was able to find Braggs at my local Safeway in the salad dressing isle.
